Hey, Robert I have been to visit the Strickland Town Cemetery a few times over the past few months. I was wondering if you knew who cleaned it out? I know my cusin Chris Strickland was down from England a few years ago and said he had done some work down there.
Reason i'm asking is because around 20 years ago me, my mother and her friend did a Meriwether County Cemetery book. I remember the Strickland Cemetery and there was not all those "unknowns" there. Over half the head stones are missing and are marked unknown. I refered back to the book and in the records it tells who was buried there, birthdays and death dates. The head stones was there and now they are gone. Even in the back of the cemetery where the slave graves are, which are marked (or was marked) with rocks, one at the head and one at the foot are all pilled up near a tree. Really heart breaking to see Strickland history erased like that.

CSA unit information
Hi Robert,
I was wondering if you had any information about T.K.'s unit in the CSA. I had the information from my mother at one time, but I seem to have misplaced it. Thanks for you time, and have a great day.

Best Regards,
Thom Curry

Hello,

You mention GA death cert # 24858 in your post for Martha Gibbs. Would be able to scan a copy of that and email it to me? It would be most appreciated if possible.

Kind regards

George Sullivan

Good morning Robert
I recently sent you some changes for the memorial of George C. Bedingfield via the Edit key. I received a reply regarding same stating the changes had been accepted. That normally means the changes have not only been accepted but also implemented.
I am jus checking with you since thus far no corrections/changes have been applied to the memorial in question. If you need more time that is not a problem and please excuse the contact. My only goal is make sure you have received the requested updates.
Thanks
Ed
