I have researched my Zinn and Rose family history for many years, and I've made many friends while doing so, some of whom are also relatives ;). It amazes me how the characteristics of one generation are passed to the next, and I love learning about the people; not just the dates and places. |
I enjoy wandering through cemeteries and reading the stones to learn about people who have gone before and see how they are remembered by their loved ones.
Many of the photos I have posted were taken without thought of anyone except me seeing them, not to mention some being taken with a somewhat inferior camera. At that time period, I was simply using them for my personal genealogical information. When I found this site and started adding photos, I hesitated to post some of the pictures because they are not the quality I would prefer. However, using the "they're better than nothing" line of thought, I did post them. I would appreciate photos of better quality being posted. Please contact me and let me know when you've added a good photo so that I can delete my inferior ones.
The disparity in the number of memorials created and memorials managed is the result of a mass transfer of almost an entire cemetery by another FindAGrave contributor.
I strive for accuracy and clarity when I post a memorial, but mistakes sometimes happen; please let me know of errors and I will promptly make corrections.

Good job! I am the research assistant at Bullion Plaza museum, and have permission to use Arizona Silver Belt and Arizona Record. But it's always best to err on the side of caution. The most important thing to me is to honor the person, and preserve the information.

You are very welcome! I've done that, also. We need to look out for one another doing this nice project for genealogists. Have a great Christmas!
|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I had set a goal of 5,000 flowers/tokens for Traci by her birthday on November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and many other findagravers, Traci has received 6,198 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and me extremely happy.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Do you have a copy of the death certificate? Which Mrs. Rukes was her mother. William Rukes was married 3 times and I know it wasn't his first wife so it had to be between Pauline and his second wife.
|Bruce Sonner||Nancy A. ( Thompson) Sonner|
Thank you for the additional information that you had for Nancy A. ( Thompson) Sonner. I did not have the names of the parents for Nancy. Your information was greatly appreciated!
Thank you also, for your service to Find A Grave!
Thank you for your token that you left on my wife memorial. I really appreciate it very much.

Thanks for adding the photo.
|Amber Kresha||Question: Edward William Vassar|
I'm thankful for the pictures of Ed's headstone. He is my great-great grandfather! I had a question regarding the date of his marriage, it says "He and Dorinda Zinn were married on April 7, 1936, in Silver Lake, Kansas." But this is after his death, is it a typo? Thanks in advance!
Amber Clark, granddaughter of Lois Jean Vassar.
