# 33147670 Mary Costigan Collins
Hi Joe!

Happy Thanksgiving.

I believe some info in the death record for Mary Costigan Collins is incorrect. All of her Census records indicate she was born in Illinois not RI (see Census links below).

Death Record:

There is a Mary Costigan born in Providence RI to a Daniel & Mary Costigan, but she was born on 1/1/1862 (4 years before Mary Collins).

Mary's parents are Daniel Costigan # 31736855 & Mary Sullivan # 31736863, both of Ireland. They are both buried in the same cemetery as Mary.

1880 Census Costigan family:

The below Census records for Mary and her husband John Collins also indicate she was born in IL and her parents were born in Ireland.

Thank you! Happy Hunting!

I have the 50th Wedding anniversary for Flossie's parents, and it lists all of them! I can email it to you after dinner if you like.

He wasn't actually born in Toledo, he was born in Union Township, Cumberland County. Charles was a farmer. He didn't actually live in a town until he was much older, they moved quite a bit and rented land wherever they could get it.

Do you think we should attach him to his first wife, even though there were divorced? They are connected through Kenneth, their son.

Thank you! I only had a death notice, with very little info. I'm wondering if Betty wasn't a nickname for Viola? I don't know what her middle name was.

RE: Joseph E
That, I do not know. My aunt likely would have known, but she's no longer with us. I only have the notes and things from before she passed, and remembered bits of conversation from visiting cemeteries with her.

I was hoping to locate this cemetery. You took the cemetery photo, so I thought you might be able to help.
