Lawrence Kindhart
I would love to communicate with anyone related to this family. I believe Stella (Taylor) Shepard to be a sister of Pearl (Taylor) Kindhart. If this is so, I am a distant relative and would love to share information. I hope to hear from you. Thanks much.I can also be reached at:

Sophronia Liggett
You might want to contact the Jerry Scott who has the other memorial for Sophronia Liggett and provide him with info on maiden name, father' and husband's name

Mary Schaefer
Susan Ing asked me to respond to your question about Mary Schaefer. She is buried in an area of single plots. indicates she was married, so Schaefer was her married name.

Anna Kindhart?

If you live around the Becam Cemetery in Damon, Brown Co., Ill. could take photo of Anna Louise (Heil) Kindhart gravestone no. 33234228. I want known what her real birth date is? Or do you know someone who does live there.

Thank You!

RE: kock
John Koch has a brother who served in the civil war for OH, who came to Brown County after the war. His name is James Koch with wife Phoebe. they are buried in Mount Zion Cemetery in Versailles TWP. John's wife was not an Ingram as it says in some sources. I think that came from the fact they had Ingram neighbors in Elkhorn TWP with a daughter named Nancy. He was already married and had two children when they came to Brown County (between 1853 & 1856). Two of their children died very young in 1865, buried in Zion Lutheran, and were named for his brother and wife. All Koch's buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery are directly related to him except Ferdinand and Caroline.

RE: kock
Correct. Different family. Koch was a pretty common name in Germany and there are others in Brown county that are not related, too.
