Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is not really Nick O'Brien, that's the name of one of my ancestors from the Irish branch of the family.

I have been working the past 3+ years to add info about relatives and in-laws where I can find them here, and to add new records, if possible, when I can't find them here.

If you're more closely related to one of my entries than I am, let me know!

If you are related to Robert I will transfer him to you. I am not related, I just like inventorying gravestones in Salt Lake to help others.

Nick the stone in the picture is a cement temporary stone. They erode some worse than others. The only thing that could be done would be for the family to get together and purchase a headstone.

Sorry, I must have missed this transfer request, but now it has been taken care of. Sorry it took so long but was out of town for a bit. I hope this is everyone you requested.

Fixed the error on Robert and transferred both to you. Hope Dawn understands: searching for a Robert R Smith will bring up anyone with the initial R in the middle name but it will not bring up Robert Smith. However, I believe that family should be with family as my bio states. You certainly are more related than I. Good Luck.

Ok so let me know what you want to do, it is probably that i searched for a Robert R Smith instead of Robert Smith like Dawns memorial has. easy mistake and easily taken care of.

RE: Nellie Householder
yes I do have and acct with ancestry.com. My only other option is to try and get info from vital statisics. I have had no luck by email. I have her adoption papers which is titled apprenticeship. I would like to know where she was before 4yrs of age. if she was orphaned or what.

RE: Marmaduke Vickery
I would be willing to knock on doors and get permission if I could. I'm interested in locating the plantation too. Read it is 3 miles southwest of Level Cross on Hwy 220. That covers a lot of area so could use more detailed directions on finding the foundation of home and mill. I am so excited to maybe find some concrete photos. I think we will tour old Salem and the Moravian settlement along with the Alamance Battlefield. Marmaduke was one that was drug through the streets till he signed over to king. Probably saved his life.
