I understand and cats just don't spell at all.

You have misspelled the maiden name of Ida. Her name was Neukirchner nor Keukircher. Could you please change the information. Thank you for all your efforts.

Some how I stumbled upon this site and to my surprise my daughters door was photographed and posted here by you. I do appreciate it and you did a beautiful job.
I am curious as to why you took a picture of her door though. Are you some how related to her/us? Do you live in Union County?

Hmm... Not sure. If his parents are listed on the death certificate as Michael Vinson and Ellen York, then that's him. The birth date on his headstone is likely not correct as he is listed on the 1860 census as 5 years old. I know for sure his younger brother Joseph (my great-grandfather) was born in 1859. We have his birth date in an old family Bible. On every census where the family is still together, William P. is listed as older than his brother Joseph. So it's always possible that the death date on the headstone is wrong too--especially if it was placed long after his death.

Patricia, I am related to Viola M. Kennell Luther and wonder if you could tell me if she is buried with Henry Elmer Luther #43268614 in the Grandview Cemetery blk 45, lot 3, space ? I am not sure of her husband's name so I am guessing that this is the Henry Luther that is in the obituary.
Thank you Patricia, I was a recruiter in Portland for 3 years... :)

There was dead grass covering part of the bottom of the stone. Because of all the rainy weather lately, It was wet underneath the grass. I will try to remember to go back and get a photo when the stone is dry. I also took a photo of his son Albert's stone and added it to Albert's memorial page.
