Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native and lifelong resident of California and reside in beautiful Sonoma County. I have a strong interest in history and genealogy and, with the help of FINDAGRAVE recently located a number of stones of direct ancestors in New England. While there, I took many photos and would like to share with anyone who is interested.
Since then, I have added a few more.

Your photos
Hi, Eric! Just wanted you to know, I've been following your photography in North Cemetery, Fowler Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, USA. I'm very impressed with the quality. Would you please give me a few pointers as far as these old stones? What program do you use to enhance the writing? ~Sherry

RE: Memorial# 84933803 - Sophie Brown
Eric, can't find a Sophie Brown on the 1880 census, let me know what you think I should change, the name? or dates. I would like it to be as correct as possible. Thanks, Diane

Sophie Brown
Hi Eric,
I don't see a picture of the tombstone for S.L. Brown or Sophie Brown on findagrave. I'm wondering if the S stands for Sophie? I took off the line in the bio that says "wife of Sophie".
So glad that somebody is taking pics in Chattanooga. I was born there, but live out west now, only get to visit infrequently. I'll research this one a little better, see if I can figure out if Sophie is S.L.

Thanks, Diane

RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929
Hi Eric, I found filing of their divorce and posted it to Nancy's memorial until the edit is done for both of the parents I sent, then I will remove it. Do you know if the Charles L. Patton Ranch Cemetery has anything to do with this family ? I also linked the parents to Nancy. Thanks for the update, Eileen

RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929
This morning I found all the children of Richard Crane and Nancy Jane Patton and either linked or sent links and vital updates. I mention this so that you are not doing double duty in researching.

RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929
The only family I find in 1850 with a Nancy J. (transcribed incorrectly P.) her parents would be Joseph and Elizabeth but I find Nancy still with them in 1860. Since she married in 1853 that doesn't work. In your research did you find names for her parents? Thanks, Eileen

Thank you Eric for finding evidence that clears this up but boy am I shocked, OMG that is way too young for marriage but somehow they made it work, wow ! I know how long these things can take to uncover, thank you for your time. Eileen

Wow, you posted a photo.... today?
Take any other photos in Bloomfield?
I was out there several times in the last few years looking for the last unphotographed headstones.
