Hello, I am so excited to have finally found this memorial! Ella C. Hampton is my second great grandmother. My grandma always referred to her as Callie and that is what is written in our family Bible, so I would have never known this was her without the memorial and the obituary listed. :) Anyway, I am wondering if you are related. If so, I would love to compare notes and, if not, I would love to manage the memorial! Thank you!

Thanks for the quick reply. It could be the cemetery records were poorly written or mistaken. Matalene's maiden name was Barnes. Her parents are Mary Jane Wiseman Barnes, memorial #51644794, and Charles Delaney Barnes, memorial #51644772.

Many folks like to know what appears on the other sides of the stones to help identify all of the family members. In my early days of doing this I often only submitted the side of the stone that included the subject memorial, but after getting so many requests asking what the other side(s) had inscribed on them, I just started to add as a routine.

Matalene was my great-grandmother. I am curious about the middle initial N. I was always told her middle name was Marsie. I wonder where you got the N information. Do you have the rest of the name? Are you related also? I always want to correct any errors I have so thanks for any help you can give.

|Daryl Woodruff||Wanda Buckert|
I was wondering how you know Wanda Buckert...You posted a picture of her grave headstone. Her birthday is the same as my step mother who was married to Edgar Duane Buckert and had three children named Billy L. born in 1947, Rex A. born in 1953 and Gregg D born in 1954. Her mother and father in law were Harold and Myrtle Buckert. They lived in the Boise Idaho area as both her husband and father and law worked for Morris and Knudsen Inc. I was not related to Wanda except through her husband Duane Buckert. I was born in 1952 in Casper Wyoming to a woman named Fern White. My blood brother was born in 1951 to the same woman and was christened Edgar Duane Buckert. My mother and our father were never married. He was working in oil field construction out of Riverton Wyoming at the time of my brothers birth and Casper Wyoming at the time of my birth. Our father Duane Buckert claimed my brother as his child but never claimed myself. I know that he was my father as well because my birth mother verified that we had the same father and that myrtle, Duane Buckert's mother was at the hospital at the time of my birth. Also my brother and I are many times mistaken as twins due to our remarkable resemblance to each other. I as well have a divorce record of Edgar Duane Buckert and Violet Buckert on Jan 14, 1952. I do know that my father went by both Edgar Duane and Duane E. both on public record and personally though he was christened Edgar Duane. Both my brother and I were adopted by a family in Roseburg oregon in 1958 and thus our names and birth records were changed to reflect our adoptive parents Warren and Tatia as our birth parents and our birth names as Richard Duane(my older brother born as Edgar Duane) and Daryl Leroy Woodruff. Any information that you might be able to clarify or add to regarding my birth fathers family would be greatly appreciated. I have no wish to upset any of my fathers living decendants or relatives but if there is an interest in my story by any of them I would be more than glad to communicate as I have 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild which they are related to. My brother has two children as well which are relatives. I can be communicated through this forum and or email@example.com.

|naekat70||Isaac Moses Frank #74828231|
Hi Judy! I found Isaac in the same cemetery as some of my Frank connections. The memorial you created for him says that his parents were Abraham Frank and Mary E. Witt. I also have an Abraham Frank but his wife was Jennie Beynon. I am at a stand-still with my Abraham and am hoping you can help me with this Isaac to see if there is a connection. Thank you, for any help.
