I am a native and lifelong resident of California and reside in beautiful Sonoma County. I have a strong interest in history and genealogy and, with the help of FINDAGRAVE recently located a number of stones of direct ancestors in New England. While there, I took many photos and would like to share with anyone who is interested.|
Since then, I have added a few more.

Find A Grave Memorial# 51041451
Thank you so much for posting Susan D. Whitney's memorial!
I was noticing that you'd picked up the incorrect year of her death. As her inscription said, she died in 1917. I only let you know, because I had quite a time finding her, using 1917!
Enjoy Sonoma Co., I was born there, but since left, I am now on the East Coast, but miss Petaluma!
Thanks for all your work on the graves!

Eric, Actually he married Tabitha Jeanette Russell in Dec 1861. She died of Typhoid Fever 11 Aug 1865, probably in Gordon County, Georgia. I haven't found a gravesite for her.

I believe That this is the same person as Mahala Cunningham Templeton # 94628476. She was the wife of Rev Allison Templeton #30531868. The initial on the gravestone that you have interpreted as a "C", is an "A". Probably the Memorial for Mahala Cunningham Templeton, done in 2012, should be eliminated, as it states "burial unknown">
Thank you for your efforts.

Hi, Eric! Just wanted you to know, I've been following your photography in North Cemetery, Fowler Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, USA. I'm very impressed with the quality. Would you please give me a few pointers as far as these old stones? What program do you use to enhance the writing? ~Sherry

Eric, can't find a Sophie Brown on the 1880 census, let me know what you think I should change, the name? or dates. I would like it to be as correct as possible. Thanks, Diane

I don't see a picture of the tombstone for S.L. Brown or Sophie Brown on findagrave. I'm wondering if the S stands for Sophie? I took off the line in the bio that says "wife of Sophie".
So glad that somebody is taking pics in Chattanooga. I was born there, but live out west now, only get to visit infrequently. I'll research this one a little better, see if I can figure out if Sophie is S.L.

|Eileen||RE: Nancy Jane Crane #72517929|
Hi Eric, I found filing of their divorce and posted it to Nancy's memorial until the edit is done for both of the parents I sent, then I will remove it. Do you know if the Charles L. Patton Ranch Cemetery has anything to do with this family ? I also linked the parents to Nancy. Thanks for the update, Eileen
