Jenkins, Ruby Marie Bash 133214626
b. Mar. 23, 1920 d. Jul. 23, 2014

She loved flowers. She made her own from crepe paper & decorated Jenkins family and other family graves of people who had died before she was born, as well as those she had known, until she began to buy artificial or real ones. She was still interested in growing flowers at 94.

Please leave some of your flowers with her, and my dad, he loved flowers too.

Jenkins, Joseph Frederick "Joe" 40428086
b. Sep. 2, 1910 d. Oct. 21, 1974

Thank you.

Many obits I use are from my sister, Peggy Jenkins Kreiger, and our deceased mother, Ruby Bash Jenkins' obituary collection. The obituaries are used with their permission.

I also use photos my sister, Peggy has taken at cemeteries for me, they are also used with her permission. I also have photos from John Schehrer, Big John (#46634520) & Betty Saltenberger (#47066478), that I may use with their permission. Photos I have used from other Find A Grave members are used with their permission.

Evelyn Ebenstein Pickering info
I have just discovered this record, and I am Evelyn's granddaughter. Her son Austin is listed, but Austin's twin brother Alan Jay Pickering (my father) is not. I have more detailed family information about both, (as well as information about Evelyn and her husband Walter and their ancestries) if you're interested. Not all of it includes their grave locations, however. I'd be happy to provide it offline.

RE: Patricia Cox # 120925621
Thank you for your question. I took the information from Floyd and Beatrice's residence in the 1940 Federal census. They were living in Joplin, Jasper county, MO on 26 Apr 1940, and I surmised they were still there when Patricia was born in Nov 1940. MHF

I did remove the photos, I do have the photos from that cemetery. But it may take me time to post it. Thank you for letting me know!

RE: Richard E

Go ahead and do whatever you need to do to the photo to meet your needs. I don't need to see/approve it before hand. Thank you for asking, though, that was very considerate of you.

Lumbleys in Messer Cemetery

Years ago I was told by Kenneth Lumbley that there is a row of unmarked Lumbleys along the west fence of Messer Cemetery. They were supposed to have died in an epidemic of "lagrippe" Included in it would probably be his grandfather William L. Lumbley who died in 1873 as well as Greene T. Lumbley who also died in 1873 and other siblings of his grandfather. The great grandparents Lumbly died in 1880,
Hopefully you can do some research on the family and see if you can find proof to add them to Messer Cemetery

Mary Pauline Hittson Stricker
Bless you for allowing our family to share in Mary Pauline's memorial. Her cousins and aunts spoke of her often, but Missouri was a long way from California for old ladies to travel. I found her name and phone number through the rest home in Joplin about three years ago. We blessed each other with our stories of our family. We planned for her to go with me to the Hittson reunion in Texas in 2015, but her daughter wouldn't allow it. Thank you for sharing her heritage on her memorial. She loved her Daddy.

I appreciate the time you took to make his memorial look so nice and to link him with his parents. But then, YOU are nice--and a great help. Thank you.
