Due to many ongoing health reasons right now, I am not able to do any research and making corrections is very hard. |
If you are related to any of the entries I have made and would like them transferred to you please ask.
Others will be transferred to a good friend of mine and she will be maintaining them.
If you have sent me an e-mail requesting changes, there will be many times I away from my computer now -- so it may be delayed. Please be patient with me.
You can contact me by e-mail too at email@example.com

I Requested A Grave Photo Of America Alice Kays Burney # 9463481. The Person Who Was Doing The Grave Photo Request Emailed Me & Said The Cemetery Said They Have No Burney's At All At That Cemetery. Rick Are You Sure She Is Buried There.
Thank You Debbie

Thanks so much. I sometimes make big mistakes like that. I'm so glad there are people that can correct me.

Thanks for the transfer. I understand and appreciate your efforts in keeping this going. I live in Columbia so I'm fairly close to Polk and Arlington; if no one asks for them, I wouldn't mind taking management. I'm not asking for them right now, but when you feel the need for them to be transferred and no one else wants them ...
I try to find info about those I manage and I'm a little behind, so I'm in no hurry for them. If you look at Hunter Cemetery, there are currently 548 people and all but 6 are mine. In trying to get information, I think I'm in the "B"s. I get sidetracked with other cemeteries - There are fewer to do and feel I'm making progress, while Hunter seems to have no end.
|Ron Johnson||RE: Sheepneck Cemetery|
After double-clicking on the map you can see that the marker shows Sheepneck to be where Orr Chapel Cemetery is. Sheepneck is in the woods to the north next to the road. I just posted some pictures on the Cemetery page that might help. Or might confuse...
You're right, there aren't many stones with legible righting on them. I did stumble on a few that were just sticking up out of the ground but not enough to poke through the vegetation. I was actually more worried about ticks, but I guess the cold weather we've had lately got rid of them.
I know what you mean about Hunter. I found a few that sunk so low, I only have a name. I really don't know if I can dig in front just to get the dates or not, then put the dirt back. I don't mind brushing away grass and a little dirt, but this will take a shovel.
|Ron Johnson||Sheepneck Cemetery|
I just visited Sheepneck Cemetery and found it to be mislocated on the map. The reason I ma writing to you is that you have a lot of names assigned to you in the cemetery and I'm hoping you are the person who initiated the cemetery page. If so, could you please relocate the pointer to the clump of trees to the northwest of where it is? I will also ask another person who seems to have a few names initiated in the cemetery, so if you are unable to move the marker because you did not initiate the cemetery page, then I apologize for taking your time.
|Ron Johnson||ummm ...|
Thanks for the transfers, but I did not need them transferred to me. I just wanted to be sure that if someone was looking for them, they might not miss them due to a typo. I'm more than happy to transfer them back to you.
|Ron Johnson||Anderson Creek Cemetery|
I recently visited Anderson Creek Cemetery in Giles County. I took as many pictures of graves that I could and found some differences on the memorial pages. Could you please make the following corrections:
Mary Lovie Wisdom (#19288718) should be Mary Lonie Wisdom.
Willie N Wisdom (#19288658) should be Willie M Wisdom
Thanks for he transfers. I appreciate your work on find-a-grave. I hope your health improves.
