Eleanor Shaifer
Cecil Cemetery

My name is Eleanor Thompson Shaifer and the Cecil's in the Cecil Cemetery are my ancestors. I cannot tell you how many times I have search the Maury County countryside for the exact location. My aunt's memory isn't very clear on where it was. Could you email me the directions on how to find it? I know it is on what used to be the Cecil farm, but much of that land has been sold off over the years so I am not sure who owns the land now.

Thank you so much

Thanks so much for the photos of my ancestors in Cecil Cemetery. From the looks of the photos, it was no small task to photograph.

Greatly appreciate your effort, kindness, and volunteer spirit...

Jason, Thank you so much for my Whitlock photos. The one of the three graves together was a key one. It showed me that James R. Whitlock was a relation to Robert and Jennie. I believe he is their adopted son but haven't been able to prove it yet. This photo in particular is a great help. You did me a great service.
