Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Lewisville, TX, and have been teaching piano, guitar and violin for over 35 years. I have been researching genealogy over 30 years. I am also a ham radio operator, KC5OZT. The main surnames I am researching are: Baker, Carroll / Carrell, Campbell, Christopher, Deaton, Gibson, Gunter, Horner, Knowles, Layton, Lee, Lester, Lowe, Pennington, Pinkston, Smithson, Stockard, Stone, Storey / Story, Strange, Wilson, and Womack, and related families. The main locations are: Texas, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, and Maryland.

I'm happy to transfer any of my non-related memorials to their relatives. I always welcome any information/link requests. Please use the Edit tab for information or transfer requests.

I'M FREE

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free-
I'm following the path God laid for me.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy!
My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times,
A loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wanted me now, he set me FREE!

Yes thank you. I'd be very happy to have their memorials transferred into my care. Max and my father were especially close..If you are from Lewisville you may have run across the family as they were all in the teaching field. I really appreciate the additional information you added to Max' memorial as well. He was the best.. Thanks again and God Bless!

Yes, "Terry" is my oldest brother. I would be honored to sponsor his memorial on this site.

I was excited to find them for you. I went every day this week, even during the rain yesterday , and found 18 of the 25 requests, not knowing where most of them were..

You are most welcome. Took pics of all 2012-2014 markers/headstones that I could find. (or that looked fairly new dirt)

Sorry so late with this, Carolyn - yes - would be interesting to see if we have any tie-ins. My site is a little disheveled (some links may be dead) but the main part of it is fine (the database) - try this link and see if it works for you, you should be able to query the database and see where we connect !: ) Thanks!!

RE: Deaton--Rose Hill Cem.
Hi Carolyn -I don't believe we have any relatives in Texas. Did you see that I found a Mozelle Deaton near Bernice? Mozelle was born and died in 1906 so I think that's the stone for Infant Deaton. Doesn't look like it's unmarked after all.
