Agnes Frank #59386486
I am trying to determine if Agnes Frank #59386486 was a sister to my Grandmother. I have absolutely no information on her except that her last married name was Agnes Frank and that she lived in "Deland" Florida. I have not idea where to begin to find any information. I saw this memorial, but it does not give a lot of stats. Would this cemetery have a record where she was born or other information when she was interred.

If this is my great aunt, she was born in Somerset County, PA. Her maiden name was Younkin.

If you can point me in the right direction to dig further, I would appreciate it.

No Guts, No Glory
Well, asking the archaeological department at U of F will certainly save the city some $$. I called the Mayor's office three times to see if I could help, left my number and got no return calls at all. Nice write-up in the paper. Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving and hope that you'll have a Merry Christmas!

RE: Ida May Sherman # 72684559 and # 139407340
Thank you for the feedback. I'll try connecting with the memorial creator and between us we'll resolve the matter.

Please have a good holiday season.

Ida May Sherman # 72684559 and # 139407340
Hi, I received your message regarding a possible duplicate memorial for Ida May Sherman # 72684559 Evergreen Cemetery (Oakland) and # 139407340 Grand Street Cemetery (Susquehanna). These cemeteries are about 2 miles apart.

Please be assured I'm very careful with any documentation and a stickler for absolute accuracy. The printed articles, obit and funeral/burial, both clearly state that she was interred in the Grand Street Cemetery.

With other Sherman family memorials at the Grand St. Cemetery, combined with not finding Ida's name, I fully believed she did not have an established memorial.

If you would provide an email I will send you my complete file about Ida and her twins (son and daughter). And the marriage of their daughter....

Just an FYI, memorials for the Evergreen cemetery do not include Ida and Stephen's twins who died a few short months after Ida. With no headstone image attached for either Ida or Stephen's memorial, does documentation exist that supports they were interred in Evergreen?

My family has lived in the Oakland/Susquehanna region for >165 years. I'm trying to create as complete as possible memorials for those who are interred there. It's a long term project and I'm always appreciative for any helpful feedback.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you.
