Thanks so much for the grave marker photo and the information you provided. I see you also did the edit on the memorial to correct the information. I certainly appreciate you doing this for me. Thanks again. I am thrilled to find my Waldo side of the family.

Hi Bob,
Guess you don't have any snow yet since you were able to get a photo. Thank you so much for taking the time to try and find a photo for me. I'll just take what photo you sent and say she's buried in there somewhere.

RE: Weldons in Green-Wood gets confusing. Charles I Smith is the 1st husband of Harriet (Weldon) (Smith) Ames. I can't find her anywhere...she lived at least until the 1940 census in Washington, DC (with her son Charles W Smith). She was daughter to Harriet Asenath Brainard and William Weldon.

Thanks for your help,
Elena (Brainerd)

Weldon - Green-Wood
Thank you for posting the picture of the marker for the three Weldons. Unfortunately, because their names are not on the marker you had no way of knowing which Weldons are there.

Mother (on the marker) is/was Harriet Asenath (Brainard) Weldon. She actually died in 1870 but was apparently reinterred when her son William died.

Son (on the marker) is William J Weldon, which has the picture posted correctly.

Sister (on the marker) is Frances L Weldon, which also has the picture posted correctly.

If you could please post the picture of the marker to 57225456 (Mother) and remove the picture from 57225487 (Nellie) it would be most appreciated. According to cemetery records Nellie is also buried in this plot but not until 1947. She may not have a marker.

Thank you,
Elena (Brainerd)

RE: FARSARI et al in Green-Wood
If you can transfer those, that would be great! I can add or correct the information based upon what I have, including who is actually buried in each grave. Thanks!

RE: FARSARI et al in Green-Wood
Hi Bob - Thanks. I have a lot of documentation on this lot already and have the relationships mapped out from a variety of primary sources. I just haven't had a chance to put up memorial pages. You're right: Martin and Margaret Grace were definitely the parents of Teresa Waldie and Julia Grace (also buried in that lot). They were from Roscrea, Tipperary, Ireland. Mary Farsari and Fannie Roff were definitely biological sisters and claimed Teresa as a sister and Margaret as their mother. I'm not sure that Margaret was their biological mother. Mary's story is really complicated. If you are curious about it, I can send you a private e-mail with the whole story.

Thanks again -
