Can you please correct this entry? Alice's maiden name is Whaland and her married name is Andrews. Michael Whaland is her brother. There's an erroneous cemetery listing on the Findagrave cemetery roster ("Holy Name, North Arlington, Bergen County, NJ") which affects several dozen memorial pages, including the one you created for Richard.
The cemetery in North Arlington, Bergen County, NJ is Holy CROSS, not "Holy Name". Holy NAME Cemetery is in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ. Ordinarily when there's a superfluous cemetery listing on the Findagrave roster, the admins simply move the memorial pages under it to the correct name and delete the incorrect one. In this case, however, it's unclear which was the intended cemetery. Please take a moment to move Richard's memorial to either "Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, Bergen County, NJ" or to "Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ". Be wary of dupes, too---these are large cemeteries with thousands of entries, not a few dozen.

Dear Judy, I am sorry there was not a more positive result to your photo request. The cemetery is lovely and the caretakers were very nice. The official response to my request was polite, but it seemed there was a concern that it was disrespectful to have me wandering the cemetery to photograph headstones. There were many requests for photos there, but I do not want to tread where I am not wanted.
