Hi, Ms. Ancelet:
I wanted to touch base with you as I am cleaning out my dad's private Ancestry.com tree and trying to properly document his records and my tombstone pics I have taken over the years.
Since we began working on our ancestry.com family tree back in 2008, we've uploaded 'shared' tombstone pictures that I erroneously assumed were taken by tree-owners who actually went to the gravesite themselves, like my dad and I normally do. :( Sadly, NOT the case as I have found numerous copy written pics (ALSO) of mine uploaded from FindAGrave.com with no copyright disclaimer as clearly noted on all of my pics.
As a musician, I value copyright as it protects one's own hard work. So, when I found a tombstone pic of my grandmother's first cousin, Minnie Agnes Caruthers-Smith, attached to my tree I had to write and see if Minnie Agnes' tombstone picture was YOUR tree (ThomasSpear53056) or was it just swiped from your work on FindAGrave?
I am assuming it was uplifted from FindAGrave without your permission. :) If SO, I will delete it from our private tree promptly.
Thank you for all your hard work for I KNOW how tough it is going through cemeteries can be... especially in Southwest Louisiana during June!

You don't know me, but I want to say thank you for posting the picture of the grave of Phillip Jewell (# 35128270). He was my best friend in high school. He's been gone for almost 20 years now and I still miss him.
At any rate, thank you.
