DO NOT USE MY EMAIL IN THE BIO FOR A SOURCE WHEN ADDING MY EDIT INFORMATION. It adds an incredible amount of spam in my mail due to web robots. "Volunteer 46947920" or my name will suffice nicely.
This was a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Findagrave.
My tree was done generations ago, thanks to my ancestors. Now my time is spent on documenting cemeteries, research, linking memorials, reuniting families, and connecting the dots; my virtual flowers now represent edits. Quality, not quantity.
We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. I am eager to transfer anyone who is not family to family. BUT, request through the system, not here, not email! Demands will be ignored, "please" is simply common courtesy.
I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. If you are rude, I will ignore you.
** I spend over half my time on Findagrave JUST sending edits to admin for duplicates. PLEASE double check before you add a historical person from the 1600's or back. Most likely, they have already been added.
** PLEASE read the FAQ concerning BURIALS UNKNOWN. They are to be used for RECENT deaths only, not your 176th great grandfather whose burial is 'not located yet.' I adhered to the rules, please do the same. I will not link to an unknown burial.
** If your pictures are crooked, of poor quality, out of focus, too dark to read, taken at night, shadowed, or the stone is covered in dirt or weeds, or your finger was in front of the lens, I will add my photo on the memorial. I apologize, I do not intend to offend. It is not out of disrespect for the other photographer, it is out of respect for the deceased and the family who might appreciate a good photo of the stone. Please have the gumption and consideration to post only decent, well thought out photos.
**USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION ON THE MEMORIAL you want updated for updates requests, transfer requests, or general inquiries for ANY memorial, it gives me easy access to the memorial in question, I have entered thousands. I will Ignore and delete suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left here or in email.

|Inge and Patrick Campbell Sr.||RE: Gary Gregory|
Hi Anne. I don't know anything about Mr. Gregory. I do know that he was buried in the Coulterville Cemetery, but don't know if his family placed a headstone. Take care and have a great weekend. Patrick
Thank you. Sure was in hopes of a stone but at least we know now there isn't one.

I just stopped by to say HI and I hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
And again many thanks for all you do.
|Jim C.||RE: Sarah Grider|
You are welcome. Sarah Grider does not have a marker in the designated plot. There are four markers in this plot, all of which have Find A Grave memorials and photos:
Henry C. Grider - Memorial 80501921
Newton J. Grider - Memorial 80503835
Hallie Grider Nissen - Memorial 80502674
Jessie Grider - Memorial 5726768
Sarah is mentioned in the marker for her husband. Let me know if you want me to add Henry's marker to Sarah's memorial.

Hi Anne - All the info in her Find A Grave bio is taken from the same obituary you sent me. Was there something in particular you would like added? Thank you so much for the wonderful photos. Awesome as always. Phyllis
|Barbara Pargament||RE: Email addresses as sources|
I wanted to give you credit for all of your work and not appear to take credit for myself. Sorry for the inconvenience to you. I have corrected the ones you mentioned and gave you credit as you suggested. Thank you for the time you have spent to add more information to these memorials. I am sure there are many, many families who appreciate the corrections and additional information that you have provided.
I work 7 days a week/10-14 hours a day(some days)so I can only check my personal emails 2 or 3 times a week. I wish I could spend more time on Genealogy and Find A Grave which I enjoy and is very satisfying to me.
Keep up the good work. Thanks for letting me know to correct the problem.
|Ed Smith||Dennis Wallace|
Thank you Anne for thinking of me for this transfer. Dennis will be buried at Lakewood and I had created a memorial for him on the 14th. We have been with the family since this senseless tragedy occurred and I have been on a roller coaster ride of rage to grief. We will get through this and the outpouring of support from the community has been absolutely wonderful. Dennis was a good man and he will be missed.

Bio updated. Thank you! Don
Hi Anne, I know the rules, however, many years ago I asked admin. about posting old obits and they said it was fine as the copyright has expired. This particular one is 1889. It is especially helpful when there is no grave marker. I know that findagrave has been tweaking their rules since Ancestry purchased them, and I am aware of these changes and make changes accordingly as I go forward. They used to have the copyright expiration date within their rules and now they have deleted it. Sorry, but I will not delete this jpg off of the web-site.
ESPECIALLY since this gentleman was a pioneer printer and newspaper publisher.
