I have a passion for anything old; antiques, histories of old communities, and especially old cemeteries. The more I photograph and transcribe them, mainly in Nevada County, California, the more I learn about the people. That is what is most fascinating to me. I have a Bachelors Degree in History and hope to continue to photograph the old headstones for many years to come. I believe in preserving the old cemeteries and documenting the markers left by old pioneers.

RE: Benjamin G. Frederick 1844-1906
Hi Kat, I'm going over this week to see if the man that takes care of the records is able to answer some questions. He was the person that gave me the plot numbers and information. I'll let you know sometime this coming week.

Benjamin G. Frederick 1844-1906
Thank you for the information sent me yesterday. I called the Park View Cemetery Office and asked about if Benjamin Frederick or his wife Clarissa Angeline Wilcox Frederick are buried in that cemetery. I was told no, they have on record on them. I'm going to keep working on this. Maybe we have the wrong names..Do you think?

Do you have any info on a memorial for Bernice Alina Hoffman? I have no record of who she might have married and where she lived and died...

RE: Ann Sleeman
dear kat b

we made it to the cunningham cemetery in grass valley, ca last weekend. i got an easier photo of Ann's headstone as we moved some logs and brought a weedeater this time. I tried to transfer Ann to you at findagrave, but it said that I already had.
If you make it to the cemetery be prepared to walk or to cut out more of the berry vines to drive in. I scratched the heck out of both sides of my car. Next trip out will have to be to fix the road and cut out the berry vines. I can't walk in ANd get any work done. The cemetery seems to just suck the energy out of me. If you make it to town, call, and I'll show you the way out there. 530-615-1126 MaryLou
We found more headstones so look on the site and see if they are anyone you know. We also found a baby grave outlined in cement, but no headstone yet.

Paul Bennetts
Alfred Bennetts Memorial# 96440064
I was very interested to read your post on Alfred Bennetts as he is a relative of mine. He was born on the 26th of May 1869 and baptised at Pendeen Church three days later. His parents were James and Elizabeth (nee. White) and he was youngest of nine children. Pendeen is located at the South Western tip of Britain in the county of Cornwall. Historically, the main industry was hard rock mining - tin and copper,

I believe that his brothers William, Thomas, Richard and Nicholas White also lived in Northern California. William later moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, to join his two other brothers John (my great grandfather) and James.

If anyone has any information about the brothers 'Bennetts', their lives and descendants please contact me at pepperthemutt@aol.com

Many thanks

I've transferred your g-g-grandmother's memorial to you. I'm not related and couldn't keep management of it in good conscience!

Blessings!
