I live in Port Orange, Florida and have been researching my family since 1977. I enjoy prowling cemeteries and taking photos of the graves. I figured if I'm walking by a grave why not photograph it for someone else. Some of these older stones are rapidly deteriorating and should be photographed as soon as possible before they're gone.|
Also, as a Vietnam vet, I like to honor our service men and women by leaving a virtual flower on their memorial.
I firmly believe we all should learn more of our ancestors and share this information with anyone interested.
My main lines are Orrell, Roberts, Stanley, Alford, Banks, Lowe and Knight. Main states are FL, GA, SC, NC & MD. My wife's lines are Hughart, Carnes & Newhouse of Kanawha Co, WV.

|John Burnett||Transfer request for Albert James Walker and Ida (Dobson) Walker at Olustee Cemetery|
I would like to request a transfer of the Albert James Walker and Ida (Dobson) Walker memorials you created. They are my great grandparents and I would love to maintain these. Thanks for creating the memorials for them.
|Paul Myers||Gladys Irene Wimer Caven|
I was pleased to find your memorials for Gladys and Earle. Gladys's brother Harold Wimer lives in Butler County, Pa., but her other siblings are now deceased. Gladys was a graduate of Tampa University, and Earle worked as an accountant in the Tampa area. She and my mother were 1st cousins, their fathers being brothers. Earle's DOB is 09/30/1925, but I don't have his exact date of death. Gladys and Earle did not have children. Her father's memorial # is 134384923, and her mother's # is 147506419. If you have time, if you are willing to do so, I would appreciate it if you would link Gladys's memorial to those of her parents. Regards, Paul Myers
I am not a family member, was just researching, but now I find on ancestry that she and her parents are listed in 1920 in Marietta, Ohio under the name Debrocq and that the parents are from France. Probably Debrocq is the best spelling. Thank you !

Ty very much for posting this grave marker. They are my grandparents. My nanny was a wonderful woman. And he was a character! I posted some info on the page you might want to look at. . :)

Thank you for the edits and links for Walter. Keep up the great work. It is, indeed, valuable to many.
More importantly however, as a fellow 'Nam vet (69-70), permit me to humbly say, "Welcome Home" my friend.
|Patricia O||Duke Hilbert, Memorial #32380615|
The name on the upright granite headstone is correct. His birth name was Eber Loyd Hilbert (I always thought the Loyd was LLoyd, but I could be wrong). The last name was definitely HIlbert with an 'i', not another 'e'. I know, I was married to his son for 20+ years. The names you see are only a couple of the several he used over the years - why? No one to my knowledge knew for sure. He was a great grandpa, though; my kids loved him!
