In honor of love of family and love of friends.|
Genealogy research is a large puzzle, with many pieces to make up, the lives of those whom have gone before, delicately put together, to tell those stories of the people whom made it possible, for those who presently live.
Poem by: Mary "Molly" VANSKIKES GAUNT (1845-1926)
Leaf after leaf drops off, flower after flower.
Some in chill; some in the warmer hour,
And the earth who nourishes them, receives them all.
Should we our wiser sons, be less content to sink into her lap, when life is spent?

Green Hills Pioneer state that they are Buried in Curtis Cemetery. I did a walk through looking for their markers. But did not find them. Do you know any thing about where the two graves are? This would have been My Great-Great- Great-Great grandparents.
Thank you sooo much for all your help! To help me find information on 'our' relatives, is very personal. I'm grateful for all you've done for me!

|TRC||Lewis F. Currey Obituary|
I entered My Great-Grandfather's obituary as a flower. If you can, please put it with the 1880 census. Thanks for posting the census, it will settle one argument about my grandfather. (I lost) However, the lack of the "e" in the last name changes the timing that I believed it happened. I believed it happened when arrived in Illinois in 1852. We are also aware his name is spelled "Louis" on the headstone. I also lost the argument of how to spell his name since I had only the headstone to go by. Unfortunately, that picture has been misplaced.

Today I found stones for William F Leishman 1852-1918 and Janet Leishman 1855-1929
Do you think they are the parents of Roy Leishman? If so I will be glad to send you the photos so you can add them or I can add them.

|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Glad I could help. Have a great day.
|tecomadrid||Peter Booth Garrett|
Thank you for the wonderful memorial to Peter Booth Garrett, and family! We were delighted to find them.
My side of the Booth family named several of thier Booth sons, after Peter Garrett, thus, conversely, we have many Peter Garrett Booths!
Without your memorial, it is unlikely I would have ever figured out who this well respected was, and how the Booths, and Garrett's were connected!
From All of the Booths, Thank You!
Deb Booth, et al!

I found an article about Earl Lindley while searching for Herman Zeims. Couldn't let the information go unnoticed. I have created a memorial for him and attached his obit. Happy to transfer.
