We have been researching our family for about 28 years and have traveled to several states for genealogy. Many of our memorials are for "extended" family members, but others are not. We hope someone finds the information we post helpful in their own research.
Except for those photos listed within our *Posted with Permission* virtual cem, every tombstone or cemetery photo we post was taken by us on the date indicated in the photo caption.
***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** OUR PHOTO POLICY: -- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. As such, and to comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission. -- Regarding our cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically, we will usually grant permission for unaltered OTHER USE when asked, but with the added stipulation that you provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or www.findagrave.com] AND our profile name AND # in the Description) for any photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Law-Miller Roots (#47103448)".
If you choose not to do this one SIMPLE thing, then we will work to have our copied photos removed - as we retain the copyright on ALL photographs that we have taken and posted. It is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).
-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.
-- Finally, Please do not download and then republish any family portraits we post, as these come from private family collections. ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
NOTE: If we've submitted a memorial that you want to make corrections to, or if you would like a memorial transferred (and we're not also related in some way) let us know via the Edit Tab and we'll take care of it asap.

 | RE: Wildschrey @ Castle View Memorial Gardens You are welcome. It was my first time searching Castle View cemetery. My husband has family there, so I thought that I would see if I could find any requests while here. I am not close to that cemetery, & usually would not be there! So, it was meant to be! It is a beautiful cemetery by the way! They havestatues of angels, praying hands, & Jesus that are absolutely stunning! Have you ever been in this cemetery? | | | Hettie
 | Adam Garfield kehler Just to once again thank you for the lovely flowers and pot you left for my ancestor, Adam Garfield Kehler at his unmarked grave and also the additional info you obtained for me. You are so special. thank you again so much.Added by Hettie on Jun 17, 2013 4:16 PM | | | Hettie
 | naomi Kehler Thank you again for the kehler photos. Also the flower pot! It is so sad to see a grave and either a deteriorated stone or no stone but hopefully some of the family still up that way will become aware of this and obtain something to place there. meantime, thank you for the flower pots for her and Wilson kehler, her husband.Added by Hettie on Jun 17, 2013 12:24 PM | | | Zenith

 | KEHLER GRAVES Thank you so very much for going out to take the Kehler grave stones and the extra effort in checking with the caretaker and the flower pot. It must be one of those old stones the fraternities placed and they would fade over the years. Thanks for the lot info and comments. Maybe family left up that way can get him a new stone. appreciate your doing this.Added by Hettie on Jun 17, 2013 11:55 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
