Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was raised in Elizabethville, PA but now living in Oak Harbor, WA Am retired and doing genealogy for the E'ville Richter family and Isaac W. Mattis family.

I am also doing memorials for my wife's family, Ackley, Priboth, Herbert & Jones. Please see the Ackley Virtual Cemetery for names.

I have completed entering memorials for Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville. If I erred on any memorial please let me know so I can make the correction.

Am also making a virtual cemetery for all veterans in Maple Grove. Please let me know if I miss someone who is in the Find A Grave list.

If you wish to copy a photo I have posted remember they are copyrighted. Credit me with the photo. I have started letting any site with my photos credited to others know they are not theirs.

Thanks to the wonderful ladies that helped post photos from Rome and Florence National Cemeteries.

I've added about another 800 headstone photos to the Maple Grove memorials. If you find a memorial that has duplicates please let me know, I know I have doubled up on some. Anyone wishing to have an unedited copy of a photo please let me know. Sometime I edit out a lot of background, which may help in locating a grave.

Have taken 7900+ photos at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. Am processing requests first but please be patient, it takes time. They need editing because they are white marble without any highlights for the names. I'll upload as I finish a batch of edits.
As always if you desire the raw photo email me.

To all the wonderful people who have commented on the Sicily-Rome photos please be assured I'll get back to you as soon as all the requests are posted. Some of you have been waiting for many a-day.

Reviewing ALL the messages sent am afraid I'll have to settle for a general message to you. The many stories told do my heart good. I understand how much these pictures mean to families. It is my honor and privilege to add my small efforts to support bringing closure to families and adding to the growing base of recording to military history.

Some photos will have very dark backgrounds. Because of the white on white of the crosses and bright sunny day it is the do requests but only way I can show names.

23 Oct. Am now adding photos without regard to requests. I will try to requests but finding one photo out of 6500+ is a challenge.

RE: Company A soldiers
Thanks John. The 2 MIA soldiers from Company A are: Pfc William F. Brennan (10 Aug 43, Sicily) and 1Lt John T. Mougey (2 Feb 44, Anzio). There are actually 3 from Company A, but you already posted Pfc Banninger. Thanks again, James

Company A soldiers
Jack, Thanks so much for sharing your photos from the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. There are 46 soldiers from my dad's unit, Company A, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, buried there and 2 on the Wall of the Missing. My wife and I plan on going there either in 2017 or 2818 to pay our respects. Thanks again! James Osborne
