Very few of the people who have ever lived ever show up in the history books. It is mostly through genealogy and websites like this that they are ever remembered.

RE: Sarah Anna Hauser # 142761969
Thanks, Tim,

I have created a new memorial for Sallie in the correct cemetery and deleted the other one.

Now I need to create some links to her family members.

Her brother, Stephen, is buried at my father's former church in Norton, OH.

RE: Maria Dils #118935261
Hello... I am glad you asked. The source of this entry are the Pastoral Records of Rev. William Rath, from the Bethlehem Room of the main Bethlehem Library. (Ask for it from the sealed stacks.)
Rev. Rath was a Lutheran pastor in Northampton County at several churches, apparently all about the same time in the mid 1800s. He left that area to serve a large pastorate in Lehigh County. Over the course of his lifetime he was known to have baptized, confirmed, married and buried thousands of individuals. However, no one quite knows where the bulk of his pastoral records may be. The Bethlehem library has a small portion.
On these pages there is a notation before each entry with the church. The entry for Maria Dills, is indicated as Moore, meaning Moorestown according to the key index. Her entry has only what I posted. (Another, different church is designated as "N. Moore".)
Several other entries in the records, which would belong to this Moorestown Church had already previously been catalogued, with the "Moore" designation... so I knew I entered Maria at the correct church, assuming his notes were correct.
I am willing to email you the page of Maria's entry with the key index page, if you like, for verification.
I have no way of knowing if there are any errors in the Pastor's notes, but admit it may be possible. If you have reason to believe this one has an error, please let me know.
I don't have many entries for these Northampton County churches, but they are all from Rev. Rath's records. I suspect many of the graves do not have tombstones, otherwise they would have already been catalogued.
I will be happy to email the pages for this entry or any others of which there might be a question. Thank you for asking for verification...
Pat D.

RE: Elton Hess
Not necessary to transfer but I think it is important to post his Death Cert # so that other family members can actually go to the Death Cert to see the cause of Death. I post the cause of Death on all my family to my public trees but not on findagrave. By the way thank you for all you are doing on findagrave and on your web site. I searched for several years to find Catherine Maria Bellesfield Hess, wife of John A Hess. I was searching for Maria Bellesfied Hess all these years because all the census records refereed to her as Maria. Finding her was a big breakthrough for me in completing the Abraham Hess 1781-1850 Family. Thank you so much for fwhat you are doing

RE: Kostenbauders
Hi Tim,

It's been a couple years since I messaged you before about the Kostenbauders. How can I get a copy of your book about the family genealogy? I'm working on this branch of my family for DAR supplemental application. Thanks, Amanda amandaellinger1@gmail.com
