|Nancy Yankie Sidarous||ANNA WATSON BARBOUR WHITFIELD|
John - thank you so very, very much for this transfer. It was very gratifying for me to make this important correction and memorialize Anna at last. I'm sure the headstone if one exists or is legible at all must have listed her as "wife of William Cobb Whitfield". I have their children to add but if you look, you'll see that I've begun to bring out what I know of her sadly short life.

|Joe Allred||Joseph Thomas Cemetery|
Hi, Mr. John Evans,
I found your name off of Find-A-Grave while searching for my family cemetery - Joseph Thomas Cemetery. located Sarecta Road between Hyw. 111 and Hwy. 11 in Beulaville, Duplin County, N.C. The little town is also known as Pink Hill, N.C. My Great Grandmother Marenda Anne Humphrey Thomas is buried there. My Grandfather, Marenda's son, Rodolph Jackson Humphrey is also buried there but not on the list you compiled. The reason it was not there is because it was buried under 6 inches of earth and weeds. My daughter and her family discovered it on April 12, 2014 by probing around in the ground next to the headstone of Marenda Anne. And then next to Rodolph Jackson Humphrey they also discovered the headstone of Rodolph's sister: Annie Blanche Humphrey Abee. I would like to have both of names and their dates added to the original listing you made. Please contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org I am also interested in cleaning up the terribly overgrown and run down cemetery. Would you like to help? Thanks so much I will be very anxious to hear from you. Sincerely, Elizabeth Ann Smith Allred, grand daughter of Rodolph Jackson Humphrey and great granddaughter of Marenda Anne Humphrey Thomas.

|Sandi Danielle||WHENEVER YOU HAVE TIME :-)|
Hi there John :::waving::: Thanks for the info on Halso-Batts and Willie Batts Cemeteries.
However, if anybody can find another Cemetery that I'm looking for, it's You! :-)
At one time there appears to have been a Swannie's Field or Swaney Field Cemetery. The description I have of it's location is that it's 1/2 mile South of East Chinquapin- in Cypress Creek Township .. or in Chinquapin, Duplin County,
I would like to know if this Cemetery is still in existence, or whether it's been re-named. I'm in no rush for the information. I just figured that since you know the area, there me be some documented research material on this Cemetery with the City or County. I would appreciate anything you could discover for me.
Thanks and Blessings! Sandi :-)
