I am a member and past volunteer of the Waseca County Historical Society and have done quite a bit of cemetery work within Waseca County.
I have been interested in genealogy for about 20 years, and I am still working on both of my husband's and my own family trees.
Since I have photographed some entire cemeteries, I will transfer any people who are relatives. Just let me know and I will be happy to do it.

Sharon, thank you so much for the copy of the obituary for Lawrence, it adds so much to the memorial. I appreciate your work on this family. My maiden name was Frederick and these are distant cousins who fit into our family tree. Cathy W.

Thanks for adding these Memorials to the site.

There is also the possibility that there are
more siblings in the same cemetery.

Marion Frederick
Thank you for the update on Marion. I have made some changes to the memorial and appreciate having the obit for my files. I had not done much with my Frederick family info of late, my maiden name was Frederick who lived in Milton Twsp, Dodge Co.

Again, thanks for all that you do.

Olivia Bailey
Thanks for all you do and thanks for Mrs. Bailey’s death notice. Philo is a g-g-grandfather and Olive a g-g-g-grandmother to me. I added a note to her bio using the information you sent.

Elsie Born
Good morning!
Thank you very much for Elsie's obituary. It's nice to see that you are still hard at work, contributing and helping folks on Findagrave! You are the Energizer Bunny!
Best regards,

RE: Abigail (Rogers) Williams
Say, I'd love a picture of that! Yes, Julius did live in or around Waseca for a bit. To my knowledge, he only served in the Civil War a few months, non-combat role, as part of "Company F", created in early 1865 to guard train tracks in Southern states that had fallen to Union forces. At 34, he may have been attracted to the benefits given veterans, hard to say. After that, he relocated to Wheeler, Wisconsin with his family. As a boy, I spent much time on that original farmstead, as his grandchildren were the "old timers" we used to visit regularly (two were also my Godparents.) My Dad loved to be on the farm , as it gave him an excuse to get out of the Twin Cities, where I was born and raised.

RE: Abigail (Rogers) Williams
Hello Sharon -- Yes, Abigail Rogers Williams was my great, great, great grandmother, mother of my great, great grandfather Julius Williams, and wife of Shepherd Williams. She's buried in Janesville, Wisconsin, as you've probably noticed. This is not too terribly far from where we live in Appleton, Wisconsin, and we plan to visit her gravesite in May.

I have traced many of her ancestors back to New York, Rhode Island and , with a few in New Hampshire. Let me know if I can help you fill in some gaps on John Rogers for you.
