 | Waterers/Morrow Co You have photos of 2 stones for Fred. These are 2 different fellows. One was in the Civil War. The other was born later. | | | Melody Roswell
 | John Slagle Dee, In all my research of this man (passenger records etc.) states that he was born in 1837 however, all records can be off by 3-5 years depending on who is doing the record keeping and who is listening or not? LOL. I have his birth as 20 Sept 1836 (which is close to the 1837 year) however, I honestly think that his year, month and days are off on his gravestone, and nothing that can be done about that part at all. So either some one in his family didn't know his actual birth or he never told them anything about himself. Which is probably true for the era in which they lived in. Unless there is a family bible somewhere I doubt if we will ever truley know exactly when he was born anyway. The only way that I found what I have is because of a Civil War record and nothing more to collaborate except for census records on him and a passenger list like I have stated before now. I know that Greenlawn Cemetery has records but I am not a relative and can't go after the death cards only my best girlfriend can do that, so if she wants them bad enough she will do that. Thanks ever so much for posting their graves I appreciate it a bunch! Some of the other Slagle's are there also that I am looking for. They should be together hopefully. The only reason that I am doing genealogy is so that my best friend knows who she is related to and what her gr-grandfather's name was. I am probably related to her through my "French" line, just haven't figured out where yet is all. Thanks, Melody | | | Don Newton
 | Sylvanus Newton I see what might have happend. Since 2 ppl have put Sylvanus online here, I must have gotten a duplicate. Mine is memorial 33544781 and did not have a photo request because Find A Grave would not let me since there was no cemetery listed.
Thank you Don | | | Don Newton
 | Sylvanus Newton I see now why this has happened. The request that you removed might have been by a site that is incorrect. As I said before, I have been to the place on the Newton Farm where he is at. A flood of '33 took away his stone and I was kinda wanting a photo that somebody might have taken before this flood. Funny thing is that I dont know why I got this email.

 | Sylvanus Newton Hi Dee Did you remove my request by mistake? Sylvanus is not at a cemetery. He was at the old Newton farm. I dont remember that cemetery in Morgan County OHIO....
