I have been working on my family tree off and on since I was 12 years old (so over 42 years). I feel it is often like a treasure hunt. I enjoy researching for others and enjoy seeing how much information I am able to gather for them.|
My love for genealogy came from my father, Rev. Geo. K. Swartzfager. He was a minister and was able to learn and remember family members of most of his parishioners. I seem to have this same ability often to the annoyance of my own family. They often seem to feel this is a curse but I feel it is a blessing that I have gladly inherited.
As I said, I am willing to do research for others. I have several books to assist in this research: Cemeteries of Crawford County, Ohio, Volumes 1, 2A and 3; Marriages of Crawford County, Ohio 1831-1997; History of Crawford County, Ohio; Index of Applications of The Pioneer Families of Crawford County, Ohio; and Families of Crawford County, Ohio 1977-1978.
Please do not make duplicates of people I have added to Find A Grave. I am willing to make transfers whenever the person is not related to my family. I will try to respond/transfer as soon as possible. I enjoy working on Find A Grave and visit cemeteries to take pictures as often as possible. While in a cemetery in Pennsylvania, I met a cousin (living of course). You never know what you may find. A friend says she can't go by a cemetery without thinking of me. My daughter just thinks its creepy. Hopefully someday my children will inherit some of my genealogy insanity.

Samuel Klopfenstein Died in 1909, but you have him listed as dying in 1912.
Hi Kathy - David and Tillie were 2nd cousins 3X removed. I saw where you were willing to make transfers if they were not related to you, so thought I would ask. I figured they probably weren't related since Tillie was listed as David or Mrs. David, but it doesn't matter. If they are related I can just send the information. Thanks anyway, Barb
Kathy, I have come across your Blaser memorials and was wondering if you have any information on them. I have been working on my Blosser/Blasser/Blaser family tree and a couple of the names you have (Sophia and Barbara) are in my tree. However, I don't have much information on them. I was trying to read the grave marker and it is too blurry.

Hello, I thank you VERY much for adding my great grandfather and my great uncles grave information. I was not aware that my great grandfather was listed here on the site.
I would like to assume management for Norman Jesse Banks http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=45420905
and Robert H Bobby Banks http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=89955735
I am 27 years old and am taking a keen interest in recording family history and my family tree, this is something that nobody in our family has ever thought of doing.
Thank you very much again, I sincerely appreciate you recording my great grandfathers grave. I was quite surprised to see his and my great grandmothers grave listed.
