Hi Y'all. I'm a Central Pennsylvania native living in Eastern Georgia. I'm tracking down and documenting family names including Daugherty, Sprunger, Amstutz, Updegraff (and its variations Updegrave, Uptagrafft, Updegrove, etc.). I'm also interested in family names Antes, Bixler, Bressler, Coffee, Ferree, Gillinger, Habegger, Herr, Kendig, Logan, Pennington, Rothlischberger, Williams. |
I'm part of the great Pennsylvania melting pot, a descendant of Scotch-Irish, Swiss Mennonite, French Huguenots, Moravians, English, German, and Welsh ancestors. The "huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
I'm also looking for my wife's family including Devaney, Hayman, Holley, Leffler, Ricketson, Robertson, Seiter, Street, Tuemler, Williams.
I'm trying to photograph as much as possible, and create an accurate, historical record. I'll be glad to transfer non-family members. I've enjoyed getting to know my extended family members through Findagrave.
Please visit my famous relatives:

You are very welcome. Glad we could help. Very interesting about Newt Gingrich's relatives. Was definitely something we did not know. Thanks for sharing. Will have to check it out next time we are there.

I asked the office personnel at West Laurel Hill to help me locate the burial site for Harvey and their records show that his disposition was to Vernon Sweeny from Yarmouth Co. NS. He is not buried at West. I hope this helps with your research. I noticed that you have been waiting quite a while for a photo, sorry I could not assist. Pat

Hello Bill, if you notice I created memorials for their sons Herbert & George, I will contact the office the first of the week and see if they have anything on three other children that passed early in life, my guess is they are buried in the same area but there are no stones other than the ones I posted.

The records I am looking at have her death as 1/14/1892 and her burial at Riverside 2/14/1892 in Section 23, Lot 1, grave 2 which is on page 140 of the records. There is nothing stating she was moved.
I would check with whoever added the memorial to the other cemetery first and see what evidence they are using to create that memorial. Is there a picture also attached to it?
I think we have enough documentation to confirm her burial here.

It was my pleasure. Sorry there were no headstones.
|Karl Brunjes||RE: Herr Photos|
You're welcome. I also have a photo for Barbara Herr (1813-1892) in the family plot in section 23. However there is no memorial for her. If you would like to create the memorial I can add the photo.
