Belinda, thank you so much for your help to others through your work with Find A Grave. It is because of ones like you that people like me (unable to visit cemeteries due to age and health issues) can now see and visit the cemeteries where their extended families are buried. I am working so very hard trying to get as much of my family's history on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker so that my descendants and others interested can see their heritage. Thank you for helping. I hope you will not mind my copying the photos for my files. In my work I have contacted over 200 and all but two have been so gracious. May God bless you in helping others. I wish I could have been younger and able to help.

Mary Mae

I believe Mary May was my maternal Grandfather's sister. His name was William Henry Scantling and he had the same parents. His daughter, Wilma Christine (Scantling) Foster was my Mom.

RE: Use of photos
Hi again!

May I have your permission to use any of your grave photos that are descendants of Cox women . . . ex. Scantling photos?

Thank you for considering this!

RE: grave photo for James Scantling
If so, only by marriage. My maternal grandmother was Bertha Mabel Cox Craig (1889 - 1971) and was born in ARK and later lived in Oklahoma, and one of her sisters was named Joella Elizabeth Cox (1879 - 1923) who was the first wife of a James Matlin Scantling who I think is the same person as on F. A. G. Their son Henry Addison Scantling would have been my mother's first cousin.
