Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have found myself in a move to central
Georgia !

I have enjoyed working with cemeteries of Dawson, Lumpkin, Cherokee, Hall and Forsyth Counties of North Georgia.

The Forsyth County's Sawnee View Gardens and Mausoleum Cemetery, in Cumming, Georgia, now has all photos uploaded, however, I am updating the entries from other sources. It is the last complete cemetery that I photographed in North Georgia.

If you find your name listed as a survivor in an obituary I have posted and would like your name removed, just ask. It will be removed promptly. I think obituaries add a lot of genealogical information that if not captured will be lost, with cremation on the rise related to the cost of living, this may be all that remains to memorialize our families.
If a newspaper or funeral home has already published a name in an obituary, I think your anonymity is already compromised, if that's what you want to call it. (But with the internet ruling our world, what is private anyway ?)

Please feel free to use any of my photos found on find a grave in your family histories.

Happy Hunting, Bren

Thanks so much for kind words! Also am a volunteer and be glad to transfer any you need. Feel free to use any of my photos. I am working on finding all civil war soldiers in my area at present...want them recognized and posted as Sons of Confederate veterans is using Find A Grave to make a national registry of graves from the war. April 9, 2015 is 150 year anniversary of surrender. Thanks again for all your help!

Yes think yours and mine are the same guy. Working on civil war soldiers, but have not gotten to that county yet...look in GA virtual vault on line (Archives) and you may find a pension record.

RE: Nora Davis
Thank you :) Nora was my paternal grandmother. I'm just trying to connect all my relatives that I can find. So far, I have 78 in my family virtual cemetery. This is really a great website.

I don't mind tranferring memorials outside the findagrave guidelines, when someone proves they are related, as you have. I have transfered her to your care. I would recommend you leaving the statement about her age. After the 5th request to change it to 1885 I added the statement. I didn't receive any requests after that. It will save you a headache. Let me know if I have other members of her/your family you would like to manage. As you can see I either deleted or transfered memorial that I was NOT related to. I over looked hers. Anonymous Graver recreated many of the memorials I deleted. You might ask that contributor to transfer Mary's husband to you also. Thank you for being so polite. It is appreciate. One of the reasons I got rid of over 4000 memorials is because no one was polite. Thanx

I am a little confused. There are no Goodwins at Beeland and I do not own any Goodwins memorials. Who or where did you mean? But I am not related to any Goodwins or Beelands.

Amanda Eva Hutto Haralson # 79662480
I am currently working the family history for my brother-in-law, Amanda or Eva Mae Hutto is a much removed cousin to him, so would you please consider transfering management of her memorial to me. Eva's family line are as follows: Parents are Lydia Ann Jones and Henry Harrison Hutto; Grandparents are John Thomas Jefferson Jones and Jane Buckley (various spellings); Great grandparents are Offie Jones and Zelphia Hutto. I have been working on the Jones family history from an old family manuscript, which was intrusted to me to update, so far I have added more than a thousand or more family members and stories. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,
