Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has been a hobby of mine for 38+ years now. I started searching Find A Grave for information on my own family lines, then became a member and added a few memorials and tombstone photographs. Things have slowly grown from there.

If I'm managing a memorial for one of your relatives, please let me know. I will gladly transfer any memorial not in my own direct line. However, if I feel that the requests are out of line or excessive (like asking for every memorial in a particular cemetery - someone actually tried that!), I reserve the right to stick to the Find A Grave rule about only doing transfers for 4 direct generations.

For transfer requests just use the "edit" tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial page and then select "suggest any other correction or addition" to type your transfer request. Please indicate your relationship to the person on the memorial in your request and include your Find A Grave member number.

ATTENTION: I want to make sure that proper credit is given for any photograph posted in my name in Henderson, McLean, and Webster counties in Kentucky. Those photographs were taken by and posted with the permission of my Find A Grave friend, Karen Waddell. Karen and I have formed a sort of Find A Grave partnership where I set up the memorials and she does the leg work of visiting and photographing the cemeteries. Some photographs she posts herself but a great many she forwards on to me for posting. If you want to thank someone for a tombstone photograph which I have posted for one of your relatives in those counties, please send your thanks to Karen. She deserves it!

Happy Searching!!!

Carl Texel Nance
Dear Lynn,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, Carl Texel Nance was a member of this unit, which is partially confirmed by his military grave marker.

I'm not sure where I'm going with my project, but I'm hoping to eventually publish something. When I do, would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Carol Texel Nance (Find A Grave Memorial# 76855149)?

Thank you!

Anna Rommen, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetry
Hi, You listed a Anne Rommen (1894-1976). Do you know more about her?
I think her Maidenname is Letema (from NL) and the name of her first husband is Kapteijn/Kapteyn. Their children live in Salt Lake City and are buried there.
I like to hear from you.

Thank You
Thank you for uploading my father's grave site. I live almost 2,000 miles away so I don't get to go there and visit as I would like. So with all sincerity I wanted to say thank you.

William Andrew Jackson Gibson
Dear Lynn,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, he was killed in action on 11/4/1918 during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in France. His gravestone says he was in the 353rd Infantry, but the History of the 89th Division has him in the 355th, so there is a discrepancy. When in doubt, I keep the individual in my list.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but want to eventually publish something. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Private Gibson's gravestone (Find A Grave Memorial# 74649007) should I eventually publish something?

Thank you,

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson
