'Researching' my Ancestry for over 20 years has been my passion! The decision to undertake this endeavor... has been a 'Most' Rewarding experience!! Meeting 'Family' from the 'East' to the 'West' coast.... Making 'lasting' friendships...
What an 'age' we live in!! The way we can communicate and get answers to our research through the 'airwaves'.... My Ancestors did their 'research' by 'snail mail'..... Some still do...
This is an 'amazing' site!! I have found many 'Ancestors' graves through this means... It is the best site to 'link' with your family... and if an 'error' is made... There is a big 'family' out there to help you 'get it right'...
If it had not been for FAG and an 'Angel', Sherry, Contributor who I met... searching for my family in Pennsylvania... I would not have found 'family' who I had been searching for over 8 years... What a 'Joy' it was the day I received the pictures of their 'Grave Stones'....
AND... not to forget the 'Angel', Cathy, who introduced me to my 'Family'... Gave me all of her research documents.. like Marriage licenses, Land Deeds, Death Certificates and more. She 'walked' the cemeteries and documented her findings... I owe her more than I could ever repay and she is not even a 'Family' member.... But she is 'Family' to me..!! Cathy is 'gone' now... Her 'Research' will carry on through many, many Generations....
Been writing a 'Family Story' to pass on to my children. Someday, I hope to write about 'Eagle Creek, OR' where my roots are. That amazing little 'community' was and still is a family 'community where all are 'related'...
I Love my 'Family'......

You are quite welcome. Happy Holiday Season to you as well!
|Annie & me (but mostly me)||RE: Kunkle/Pomeroy/Myers|
I transferred their spouses also. Family should be with family!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
|Annie & me (but mostly me)||Kunkle|
You sent an edit request for Edna Kunkle 100245137 and 3 relatives. Are they family of yours? I will transfer the memorials to you if they are. Just let me know if you want them.

Hi Patty, I am curious about Sarah's bio, it says she never learned to speak english. Do you know why? I descend from her sister Susannah and can't find much info. Do you maybe mean she never learned to read?

|David Crombie||Pleasant Hill Cemetery|
Wonderful work on the Traxler family, especially children of Michael and Elizabeth Kramer Traxler. Are there actual burial records / records of interment / etc for Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Huntingdon co PA?
I see death dates for both Michael 1818 and for his son Jacob 1864 but would like to know if those come from cemetery records.

Thanks, Patti !

Hi Patti, I'm descended from Peter Albert Myers who is buried at Garards Fort. It gets very sketchy trying to find his ancestors. There is even one researcher who says his real name was Peter Jacob Myers. Peter supposedly was born in Pittstown, NJ in 1760. Peter's father MAY have been an Andrew Myers, but I can't find any hard evidence for that.
If you know anything that would help me, I'd so appreciate it!

My mom ( also a Pat Myers before marriage) was the great grand daughter of Henry Myers. ( daughter of Raymond and Adeline Myers) I've been looking into the Myers family tree a lot the last six months......thought I'd introduce myself!
