I WILL NOT LINK TO BURIAL UNKNOWN. Burial unknown get removed if someone adds the name to a cemetery. The one in the right cemetery first stays.

Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.
Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition.

Please only add photos of the person or stone to memorials I added. All others I will send in to be removed as if you read what can be added as a photo it will tell you what not to add.

A lot of information has been given by others. So please give me a source for what you think is wrong. Some take information from Ancestry.com and a lot of wrong information has been poster there.

When I started walking cemeteries 6 years ago, it was to help others find the BURIAL LOCATION of family. Now I feel Find a grave has turned into one more family tree site.

Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.

You can add your family to a Virtual Cemetery.

I follow Find a graves guidelines for transfers.

Transfers will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Please do not just say "my grandparent" I would like to known how they are family.

I will stay with dates on the stone. If they are wrong I will put it in the notes.

I started to transfer all to find a grave but they do not care what information gets added right or wrong. Transfer to collectors.

To many adding burial unknown just to make their family tree. They ask for transfers of everyone in their family tree. Get made and rude when you do not do as they want.

To many move their burial unknown after someone does the work of walking a cemetery and the sit back and want credit for finding the burial location.

Some think others should not add doubles of the burial unknowns they add. But when you walk a cemetery you DO NOT have to search for unknown. You only have to search the cemetery. So the BURIAL UNKNOWN is the double and find a grave will merge to the one in the cemetery first.
