PLEASE DO NOT ADD COPIES OF DEATH CERTIFICATES TO MY MEMORIAL PAGES.|
I am 71 years old. At the age of 52 I became interested in family history because of my husband's daughter. She wanted some information about her family. Others had promised information but did not come thru with it so I told her I would help her. It was so much fun I have continued with my research. I am always happy to help in the search and photo taking of a monument. I have been helped many times in the past and hope to help others in the future. One outstanding person in Camden, Missouri, Janice Pennington, who is now my dear friend, is the main reason I became interested in Find A Grave. Through Genforum I requested one picture of a monument in a cemetery fairly close to her area. She saw my request, contacted me and told me she would get the picture for me. Not only did she get that picture but she sent me over 50 other pictures of my ancestors graves in the same cemetery. Because of her and also her husband Larry, I wanted to help others find graves of their families and take photo's of the headstones. That is when I found Find A Grave. Talk about getting your prayers answered, I did. Another lady, Roberta, who lives in Indiana, went to Kentucky and took over 70 pictures for me at 4 different cemeteries of my ancestors graves. The gratitude I have for these people makes me want to grab every photo request I can to help others.
If I can make a correction or add information to a memorial page, please let me know. If you would like to have one of my memorial pages transferred to you, (if they are not a member of my family), please let me know and I will do it. Please go thru the proper channels for any changes or transfers of a memorial page.

Please remove the fake headstone picture you placed on my memorial. It's against Find A Grave guidelines and I don't want it on my memorial.

You spelled Nachtigall correctly. I do not know who entered the other spelling for Marie Nachtigall.

Hi Joyce, I have the tombstone photo for Denise.She is buried with her husband.You have a note with the flower stating that you thought she must have been cremated. She is buried there,so could you remove the note.
Hope your doing well.

Hi Joyce , I was walking in Adoration the other day and found a tombstone that was mostly covered up.I cleaned it off and it was for David. On his memorial # 20374870 you added a tombstone photo for the unmarked grave. Could you please delete it.Also under the flowers you added where he was buried .However he is in Adoration ,but it was on a different row than what you had,so could you please delete that also. Hope you and yours are doing okay.
could you link Henry Franklin Shellenberger Sr #72990495 to his parents:

Hi Joyce, was checking thru some of my memorials,when I noticed that you had added the unmarked grave photo to it. I did find a faded cemetery marker and had added that to the memorial.Could you please delete the marker photo you added.
|Tom Lamb||RE: ML Gaines photo request|
I feel pretty sure that this is your person as Sarah J. Gaines shares the same headstone. I will go ahead and post the photos for each one's memorial. I'm not sure how the date of death was given to the providers of the CSA plaque but I've got that photo also, so it will be there.
Have a great day.
