Helping to Add photos and listing to the 14 Cemeteries of Harmon County, Oklahoma...Visit my genealogy located at "Free" site at Rootsweb.com over 187,000 entries. I started genealogy in 1995 before I had a computer, used Family History Center in Bagdad, Arizona where I found friends who loved genealogy as much as I do! Moved back to Delbert's Roots in Oklahoma to retire. I have walked the 14 cemeteries many times making lists to place online, now, walking with my camera... to update ! (On my third camera)
P S: If you notice a big dark blob on the marker, it may be my DNA...SWEAT....got a few drops on some in Wellington, Texas! HA! July 14, 2012

Thank you for enduring the sunshine and the picture of my Uncle Lester Randolph, most grateful, as I have left Oklahoma for the cool rainy Northwest.
|G. Flanders||Kenneth Bentilla|
Thank you for the information you sent me on Kenneth and thank you very much for the pictures you have taken and posted.
Do you by chance know where his parents are buried? Since you sent me their names and dates I thought maybe you might know where they were buried.
Thank you again, I appreciate all you do.

I have added the information that you suggested to this memorial. I'm curious... since this is his "First Burial", where is his second burial?

Looks like you have been a very busy lady! I am the niece of Verdie Mavious (McNutt) Landers #127018092 & I am requesting her memorial be transferred to me. I have lots of family to add to her & her birthdate is incorrect, which I would like to correct.
My contributor # is 47061596 & my name is Karen. Please consider I have photos & other items to add.

My grandmother Fannie # 84785547 and grandfather Sidney # 836793303 are buried in Fairmore in Hollis, ok. Their daughters Ruby# 83679362 and Pauline and daughter Barbara # 83679442 are buried in the same plat. Would like their names in family links so other family can find relationships. If possible could you transfer this to me. Thanks Susan Lane

Thanks so much Jeanette. I'm actually in a city named Wellington right now, but it is a bit far away since it is Wellington, New Zealand! That kind of prevents me doing much in the way of visiting relatives' graves there in Texas. I think the last time I was there at that graveyard was in the middle 1970's and when I drove by in I-40 in 2001, there was a big storm so I couldn't stop by and visit.
This means a lot to me and to my Dad who is in Alabama and can't really travel any more. I will have to see if I can send you something from down here.

Thank you so much for taking photographs like these for people in that part of Texas and Oklahoma. It is very important for those of us who are so far away from where our relatives are at rest, it is reassuring that someone has respect for people she has never met.

|Thutmose||In the Wellington area again soon?|
If you get a chance to photograph in the Wellington, Texas area sometime soon, I have a request for a photograph of my grandfather's grave at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Plot: Section 4 Row 8, James Marion Whitfield.
