|Daniel Estefano||RE: Addie/Anna Ratcliff #104768677 and #104768696|
For Addie, both of her parents were born and died in Buncombe County and she was about two years of age at death. She and her parents are buried at Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery in Buncombe County, also they are listed in the 1900 and 1910 US Census at Leicester, Buncombe County.

In the 1910 census they were living in Leroy Township, Audubon County, Iowa and Audubon is the only town in Leroy Township............
|Karen Kincaid Tumbleson||RE: William Neumann|
Hi I am a great great granddaughter of William Neumann whose full name was Christian Gottfried Wilhelm Neumann. My name and findagrave.com id is: Karen Kincaid Tumbleson (#46856579) I've been a member even a few years longer than you've been using it-10 to be exact. I had not added William since I was researching additional info info to add before putting up his memorial.
I have the family bible record of William, and know more about my 2nd great grandfather than anyone else currently living, except of course for my mom, but she doesn't have a findagrave.com account, although she too is an avid genealogical researcher of our family lines. I have posted a photo of William on findagrave.com you will have seen. I have been to Monroe Street Cemetery in Cuyahoga County, and I would appreciate a transfer of his memorial to my account. Thanks so much for adding his memorial.

Margaret was my great grandmother. She was born on June 2nd 1898 in Slovakia.
|Cyndy Munday||RE: Source information|
My source info on the 3 memorials for name change for Jane Connolly, and her husband Josiah Henry Baker and his father Josiah Whitney BAker all come from the New York death index. This info is on line through familysearch.org. They are distant cousins of mine and that is why I was researching them. Thanks for asking and being a part of find a grave. Such a wonderful way to share info.
|Alice Wilson||RE: Mary Martin #130232980|
Thomas Jackson Martin is/was my grandfather. Mary (his second wife) always said that she was born in Paris - the 1940 census shows her place of birth as Paris, France - She told my father, who would have technically been her step-son, but who never lived with her or acknowledged that relationship, that she was from France. I have been unable to find any information about her immigration, etc. As far as I can determine, she may have never become a US citizen. My father, who is still living, does not have any further information other than her statement that she was from France. We have never been able to find any information about her parents, her entry into the US, citizenship, etc. Therefore, I rely on the information furnished to the census bureau in 1940, which conforms with what my father was told, as the fact of the matter.

I think it was a report by Janice Scruggs but I am not certain at this time. If you don't want to change it that is okay.
|Daniel Estefano||RE: George Wild #79135856|
His son Emory Marion Wild, we corresponded on the Ratcliff family of Buncombe County for years.
|Bill||RE: Shelby Holder #105728162|
Thank you for challenging my info. This was, I believe, based on information we received 10-15 years ago by another researcher though it could also from a document listing descendants of Solomon Holder that I obtained form the Mesa, AZ LDS Family History Center. I am not sure at this moment.
Doing a little more research following your message it appears that Shelby was born in Gilmer, TX not Grice. That is the info listed on his son, Shelby's, birth certificate.
There are a number of family trees posted on Ancestry stating his middle name is Herbert though I could not find that middle name elsewhere.
Finally I ran across this on the Ancestry web site:
in the Family Data Collection - Individual Records
Record Image No Image
Add alternate information
Name: Shelby Holder
Spouse: Nellie Thelma Thompson
Parents: Thomas Dolphus Holder, Sarah Hampton Henson
Birth Place: Upshur Co, Grice, TX
Birth Date: 17 Feb 1900
Marriage Place: Grice, Upshur Co, TX
Marriage Date: 24 Mar 1918
Death Place: Texarkana, Miller Co, AR
Death Date: 9 Mar 1967
My wife's maiden name is Holder. She and Shelby would be 2nd cousins, twice removed.
