Beth Bailey, where are you?|
Attention fellow dweebs out there in FAG Land. If I did a duplicate, shame on me. If you did a duplicate, shame on you. A great thing about this site is that there is plenty of shame to pass around!
Hey! Ever heard of a "pre needs Memorial"? Evidently it is when you create a memorial prior to the person's death. Sooooo, let's not hurry anyone onto the FAG Memorial pages until they actually qualify as deceased. Would it be too much to ask to have everyone review their memorials and eliminate the pre-needs people?
I try to take care of all requests immediately, if not sooner. I simply wave my Magic Wand named "Plunky" and kerplunk it is done faster than a speeding Norwegian going to lunch at Oscar Larson's.
My Christmas list is available for those who would be interested in adopting me for Christmas this year. Once again, I am asking for a gravestone detector to aid in finding the elusive marker. Otherwise, I still can use snow shoes, ice picks, shovels, emergency kit, and mini-snowblower. (It is incredible how much one needs to take to the cemetery in this frigid snowy land called Minnesotah, land of 10,000 snow drifts.
In the mean time, do something nice for others. It will confuse them and give them pause as to what is going on!
And now, a poem fer yah!
"Lament" by Edna St. Vincent Millay:
Your father is dead.
From his old coats
I'll make you little jackets;
I'll make you little trousers
From his old pants.
There'll be in his pockets
Things he used to put there,
Keys and pennies
Covered with tobacco;
Dan shall have the pennies
To save in his bank;
Anne shall have the keys
To make a pretty noise with.
Life must go on,
And the dead be forgotten;
Life must go on,
Though good men die;
Anne, eat your breakfast;
Dan, take your medicine;
Life must go on;
I forget just why.
