Hello, My name is Margaret (Peg) Allen Arnold and I live in Madison, Wisconsin, but I was born and raised in DeKalb, IL. My husband's name is Stephen I. Arnold. I'm currently researching my father's side of the family (Allen and Tice). They were all from Washington County, Maryland and moved to Ogle County, IL in the 1840s and 1850s. I'm also working on my mother's side, the Kirbys and O'Donnells from Steward, Lee, IL and the Rileys from Malta, DeKalb, IL.
I am currently (2011) working on adding obituaries to Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Sycamore, IL. Since the University of Illinois has put a searchable Sycamore True Republican newspaper on-line, I have added more than 500 obits to the postings in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
