We love Find A Grave! A cousin introduced us to this site in the summer of 2011 and it has been a constant companion while working on our family trees. I believe the final resting spot is just as important as finding where our long lost relative started out and where their life journey took them.|
A huge Thanks to all the volunteers who have helped us in the past and those who will help us in the future. We will keep uploading headstones as our way of "Paying it forward".
Please feel free to use any picture I have added. Permission is granted as soon as that picture has been uploaded. It really makes my heart happy if I was the lucky one who added a photo that you can use in your family tree and on your continued quest to discover your family history.
We are researching: Gannon, Gatz, Henneberry, Marcotte, Young, Colbert, Dorff, Dronkers, Farquharson & VandeBurg.

You are most welcome. Please, the Friends of Maple Grove Cemetery is a volunteer group that is creating programs and events highlighting the historical events of the past through those who lived it. We create programs that teach children about the Civil War through those who were there. Great artists, poets, coal dealers, police officers. If you go to our website you can see what we are doing to bridge the gap between the past and present.
We would love to hear about the historic past of the Hunts.
President of the Friends of Maple Grove.

You're very welcome for the photos. Yes, sad when the grave is unmarked. Anyway, glad I could help out.
