My grandmother passed away in December 2007. When she did I realized I didn't know anything about her side of the family so I started searching for them. Find A Grave was a very helpful tool to me. I found out more about my grandmother's side of the family than even my mother knew. Probably more than my grandmother knew. In my search I was able to contribute to Find A Grave in the hopes that I could help others who wanted to know where they came from. My husband and my mother started helping me and we had a lot of fun in our searches. Finding cemeteries took us to a lot of places we'd never been and helped us to have a lot of respect for families and cemeteries. I hope everyone who uses Find A Grave will find a greater appreciation for family and ancestors. We did.

Can move this one from Rocky Swamp SOUTHERN Methodist to Rocky Swamp Methodist? That is where the grave actually is. Thanks.

Miss Cassie Nicholes
Sandbug...This lady was beloved by students who encountered her at old Edmunds High School. I added a picture. Here is a link to a Face Book discussion thread on her in case you'd want to extract a little bio info for her memorial. I'm not her relative but would be glad to manage her memorial and do that if you prefer: https://www.facebook.com/groups/172858592786335/permalink/681299238608932/

Elliott Family in Andrews Cemetery
Thank you ever so much for taking the time to photograph James, Ralph C and Jessie M Elliott at the Andrews Cemetery. Your photographs were excellent and I really appreciate you taking the extra shots. Would you be so kind as to add the landscape cemetery photo with the Cross to the Cemetery page where it will remain a permanent part of the cemetery for all to see?
