I was working on my and my husband's family tree online and I had pretty much run into a dead end on my side when he showed me a headstone of one of my relatives in Alabama. I was so surprised and asked him where he got it. That was my introduction to findagrave.com.

The happiest people I know are people who don't even think about being happy. They just think about being good neighbors, good people. And then happiness sort of sneaks in the back window while they are busy doing good. -Rabbi Harold Kushner

Thank you for checking on it. Sometimes we just don't know for sure. I appreciate your help, have a good weekend!

I was just looking at the dates on her tombstone. Wow!! She lived a really long time! I suspect that either the year of birth is wrong or the year of death. I just wondered if you had any way to verify which it is. Have a good day!

J R Faison is Rev Jarvis Roscoe Faison. Jarvis Roscoe Faison Jr. was his son that died probably around the age of two or three. Junior was a child from the first marriage. Jarvis Roscoe Jr's mother's name was Bessie Gorham Faison. M. T. Faison was Rev. Jarvis Roscoe Faison second wife. Her whole name is Margaret Turner Faison.

Thank you so much for the picture of my husband's family graves. We found a picture of Roscoe Jarvis Faison Jr grave and a picture of a tombstone that says faison. My husband's mother died when he was young and he does not know if she is buried in the Old Westview Cemetary. I wondering if she may be buried in the faison plot. She was in New York when she died. It would give him some closure if he knew where she was buried. He was shocked to see Jarvis Roscoe Faison Jr. grave site. He did not know his mother had a brother that died as a child. I have been tracing his family history because there are so many unanswered questions. He was raised by his aunt.

Donna, I have been trying to obtain this photo for a long time. This is my GG grandmother. I thank you very much for taking the time to take the photo and posting it.
I am also looking for her first husband Capers Sweatt (Swett) and her great grandson Cleveland Stacy (my uncle) gravesites which to my knowledge are also in Shiloh Cemetery.
I don't know if you have any other photos of the Stacy/Swett and Brigman family. I would be interested in any that you have.
