Ex-paratrooper. Graduate Student. Wife. Mommy. |
I was working on my and my husband's family tree online and I had pretty much run into a dead end on my side when he showed me a headstone of one of my relatives in Alabama. I was so surprised and asked him where he got it. That was my introduction to findagrave.com.

The happiest people I know are people who don't even think about being happy. They just think about being good neighbors, good people. And then happiness sort of sneaks in the back window while they are busy doing good. -Rabbi Harold Kushner

Hi. I was doing some research to find my grandmothers headstone & I found it & saw that the pictures were submitted by you. Wondering if we are related?? If not just wondering how you found the information you posted.
Her name is Hattie R Watson.
Thank you. Inquiring minds want to know

You're a brave lady, Donna!
Other than the Pankey Cemetery in Richmond County, (where six persons are said to have been buried, including one Revolutionary War soldier), I am most anxious to have a photo of a double gravemarker for William Smith Meachum, d. 1859, and his wife, Martha Winfree Meachum, d. 1854. This monument is on private pasture land below Lilesville in Anson County, presently owned by descendants of Streeter, I believe, but once owned by William Smith Meachum. On the Find-A-Grave site, it is incorrectly stated that this grave is in the Smith Cemetery. As I understand it, the burials are within a fenced area and permission should first be obtained from the current owner before going onto the land.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for the photo and posting to her memorial.

Appreciate so very much your photographing the stones for this lady.
By the way, do you think it's cold enough now that snakes are no longer crawling in Anson County?

Thank you so much for providing the photos and document of Alexander Caulder. I've waited a long time. He is my wife's grandfather. If you could, could you email me a copy of the photos and document to firstname.lastname@example.org? Thanks again.

Thank you for your time & labor that you took for the photo of the Whisnant family. This really means a lot to me. To see the final resting place.
