I became interested in genealogy after my father and mother died and began a search of family roots which concluded with a book "The Wilkinsons of Isle of Wight, Surry, and Sussex Counties, Virginia". One of the things that I found is that researchers always like to know where their ancestors are buried. Find A Grave assists in this effort and I am glad to be a part of it. If you wish to edit any of the memorials which I have posted, please use the edit button at the right hand top of the screen and I will repsond in a timely manner.

RE: Thank You Goldeneagle
You are more than welcome. Thank you for the work you are doing for Find A Grave. I really enjoyed going to cemeteries to do request. My health will not let me do it any longer. I turned 80 last April so I have had to stop my trips. I use to keep the request at Blandford to a minimum but I see lately they are backing up.
Now I set at the computer and research my family. I have over 14,500 names in the database and still looking.

Anyway, thank you. If I can be of any help, let me know.

Ann Martin Spotswood
somewhere in my Genealogy notes Ann had 2 middle names she was Ann Graham McIlwaine Martin, like her Father's 2 middle names, do you know if that was true?

RE: Josephine Murphy Quicke Photo
I was at Arlington National Cemetery today shooting photos for several requests. I did not realize that Josephine and Arthur were in adjoining plots. At some point in time a decision was made to intern spouses and family members in the same plot. I recently discovered a plot that contained five family members; three children that died in a house fire plus the mother and father.

I will be back to Arlington soon and will photograph Arthur Quicke's plot.

Many times Find A Grave will removed obituary photos posted without prior approval.

Since I do not know her and you do I will transfer her memorial to you if you want to manage it. I always try to place memorials with family and or friends. Let me know.

Thank you for photographing the Civil war monument. Is there a monument specifically for him ? Is this a mass burial cemetery plot? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you, sincerely.
