Bio and Links
Bio Photo This photo was taken in 1968 as a high school student working on a tiny graveyard restoration project. My family genealogy has been an intense 14+ year study and has led me back to circa 1755 London. Many folks have been kind enough to assist me in the tedious but rewarding research project. Contributing to Find-A-Grave is my way of giving back and paying forward.

I believe that a memorial belongs with the family and loved ones to cherish and maintain. My mission is to be cooperative with others doing research and I am more than willing to transfer memorials I have created.
*** When photographing a memorial, I do not alter it's condition. I take them as I find them!

"I think most people can do a whole awful lot more if they just try, ... They just don't have the confidence that they can write a novel or they can write poetry or they can take pictures or paint or whatever, and so they don't do it, and they leave the planet dissatisfied with themselves."
quote from Gordon A. Parks, Sr. 1912-2006

RE: Theodore Kaiser
Hi, Louise,

I didn't take that photo that I posted on the Kaiser grave, but had looked it up on google. Now I can't even remember why I was researching this person, but I believe I had branched off from my paternal grandmother's family somehow. I need to retrace my steps!!

Best wishes,
Julie

Thomas R Mitchell, Mount Vernon Cemetery
Hi Louise, I see you have date listed for his death. I have been researching this part of my family for years. Do you know what source the date originated from? Thanks for all your time and effort in Find A Grave.

Kaiser Family cemetery
My husband and I are looking to buy a piece of property that supposedly has the graves of Theodore Kaiser and his family on it. Do you know anything about the cemetery, and possibly any info regarding the house, property, etc?
We have no problem with there being graves on the property, but we would both like to know a little more about the Kaiser family and why the house has historical status.

Thank you,
Kathey and Dan Marchand (Kathey Giffin)

John Swanson Russell and Gladys B.
Do you have any other information on these two that are buried in Kenbridge Heights? I'm trying to determine if they are related to my Lunenburg Russells.

Thanks!

I just want to say Thank You Louise for your work and for posting this information. I am new to doing genealogy searches and to have someone like you helping along the way is something I very much appreciate. Now I know where several family ancestors are.

Marilyn Jackson
Walker Family in Lakeview cem
Hello,

Dermott Earl Walker and Van Murray Walker are not the children of Mary L Thomas Walker. They are the children of John James Walker's first wife - Louisa M Drake who he married in Lunenburg Co in 1876. Louisa M is sister of Silas J Drake so Van Murray Walker is married to his first cousin.

Thank you for your contributions,

Marilyn Jackson (my husband descends from Lucy Ann sister of Silas and Louisa.

Louise, Thank you for your hard work at Grace. It certainly paid off. Thanks for all the pictures you have taken. I started years ago just going to cemeteries without a camera and recording just people I knew. Recently I have tried to go back and record the ones I missed and to take pictures. I did so with Grace. And with many more I have been to in this area , I found Louise Homan Keiser had been there. Thanks for taking up my slack. You have really helped me with my research.
