Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a native of Virginia and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. My career brought me from Richmond to Atlanta in the 1980s and Georgia has been my home ever since.

I became interested in and my family genealogy after my mother passed away in 2010. She was a proud native of South Georgia. I've posted many photos of my mother, family and friends so their memory will live on.

Memories keep those that we've loved near to us. It provides us the opportunity to recollect the events, experiences, every hug, kiss, loving words of support, encouragement and wisdom.

She still lives in us everyday. We're so blessed. ♥

RE: Mary McLendon memorial
No thanks. I'm not family. I'm a findagrave volunteer with interests in Oakland. I stumbled over this story looking for something else and thought it should be in the memorial. Thanks.

RE: The Daniels - Mrs. Daniel #105028590.
Tim, Hey! Brother, Great Photo displays,
but I think the "older fellow" in the photo
with Mrs. Daniel is the late, Senator and
good friend of President Roosevelt, former
governor of SC, James 'Jimmy' Francis
Byrnes, check it out, please correct moi
if I'm incorrect, and the photos are still
great, especially those of the engraving
of the names in their mausoleum, that
structure sure stands out at Springwood,
among a few others. Looking back, I wasn't
recalling who the photo credit was for the
first Mrs. Daniel 'Portrait-like' photo.
Thank you, John G. O III

No, SS death gives Chatham, GA. I am fairly confident that this is him.

Thomas Wilcox and Mary Wilcox
Hello Tim,
Thomas is my 3rd Great Grandfather from my mother's side. My mother was from Alma GA and I still keep in touch with family there. My question is in regards to Mary (McMillian) Wilcox, Thomas's second wife. I believe I have found her gravesite in Bacon County, but I read a note in "Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia" that Mary is supposedly buried next to or near vicinity of Thomas. I am wondering if you can confirm this? I have not yet been to Thomas's gravesite, but hope to go this summer. Also I was told that Thomas's gravesite is on private property. Do you know if that is true?
