Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired engineer after working at GE for 32 years. I was widowed after a 58 year marriage.

Thankfully, I am still very active and healthy at the age of 86. Most of my life I have ridden bicycles. I rode over 78,000 miles between 1980-1990 and I have walked over a million steps (yes, I kept track!) That explains the right hip replacement!

I volunteer two days a week at our local museum photographing items for archiving. I also volunteer two hours a week at our hospice thrift store and, of course, spend endless hours on FAG!

I became interested in Find A Grave when I was working in genealogy with my significant other, Joyce Larsen, and we discovered this site.

When I take photographs, I take a broom, a knife for trimming around the edges and often get down on my knees and sometimes my stomach to get a good photo. I really hate to see photos with mud or leaves and grass on the headstone (especially the military ones!)

I will be happy to transfer a relative to you, or make corrections/additions. Please use the EDIT BUTTON on "Correction Requests" for any changes and on transfers please INCLUDE YOUR ID NUMBER.

Bemjamin Harris
You sent me an edit message regarding Benjamin Harris who married Ann Eppes. The message was posted on my 5th great grandfather's memorial page. He married Sarah Copenhaver and is not the Benjamin Harris you are looking for on Find A Grave. The two Benjamin's were 1C1R. I do not know where your Benjamin is buried. Sorry I can not help with that.

Perry Bohnstedt
Thank you very much for approving my edits. I have deleted the other Perry Aden Bohnstedt so we don't have a duplicate.

Kind Regards, Tom Bohnstedt

Perry Bonstead
Greetings,

First, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to create the memorial for Perry, my great-uncle. That was very thoughtful.

Also, I wanted to explain my edit requests. I know Perry's marker has his last name spelled "Bonstead". This is not the first time I've seen temporary markers for someone from my family misspelled. This also happened to a branch of our family in Wyoming.

When Perry died his parents, Verner and Mollie, didn't have much money, which is no doubt why they didn't pay for a permanent marker. And since the marker was supposed to be a temp, whoever was in charge of this didn't bother to double-check the spelling. Since our family came here from Germany it has been a constant battle to see to it that our last name is spelled correctly! Lol.

Please do let me know if you have any questions.

Again, I appreciate your help.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 85671810
I have sent them cemeteries into admin to have them merged. Less confusion if there is only one listing.

E.C Davey
Hello, I know a little about her. I know she married my grandfather Frank Erbert Davey in 1940.
Elizabeth "Libbie" C Meredith was her maiden name. She is listed on the 1930 census as widowed and working as a live house keeper for some rich cattle rancher in Yakima.
I believe she was was from the the upper midwest.
Her marker is a state provided marker from what I understand. I searched for and obituary but couldn't find anything open source.
Frank Davey married three times , once in 1909 Portland, which resulted in a baby girl, then to my maternal grandmother Joyce Batson in 1920 (3 girls)Wenatchee, and then "Libbie" Meredith in 1940 in Seattle. Libbie may have had family in Seattle where they married, because they didn't live there. Frank moved all over the state as he followed his work in carpentry. Either that or he just liked to roam around. Died in Spokane buried with family in Grandview.

Grace Crooks
Hello, you added a photo to the grave of Grace Crooks, buried Prosser, WA. (#43344654). First of all, the original submitter has confused the wives of Samuel Crooks and I've just sent a message to that person. His first wife was Grace Putnam (who died in Portland, OR in 1931, they were divorced). His second wife was Grace Swalley who is buried with him in Prosser. The photo you submitted shows a lady who would be much older than someone born in the 1870s or 1880s. Can you identify the exact identity? I am a Putnam researcher. Thank you.
