I started doing my family genealogy in 1984 and it quickly turned into a hobby. It is also my hope by adding to Find A Grave, I can be of help to others looking for lost family members.|

|Mary Shackelferd||John G Taylor|
I have a death certificate for John G. Taylor in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Woodway, Lee Co., VA. It lists his parents as Luther Taylor and Harrot Monday. His wife was Polly Anne Taylor. He was killed in a coal mine accident and died on June 24, 1927. He is my husband's Grandfather.

Thanks for creating this memorial. Like the previous request for Selma's sister, Marie Fox Amoss, she was my relative and I have more info for a bio. Would you please transfer her memorial to me? Thank you for your help.

Would you be willing to transfer memorials 111921110 (Sarah Blaney) and 111921150 (Caroline Blaney) to me? both are direct kin, and ongoing research into the family keeps necessitating edits -- and I do not want to keep bugging you with those. Many thanks in advance!

I submitted this edit in March, and since it hasn't as yet been included to his bio, I thought I should bring your attention to it, in case it may have been overlooked. Thanks, Vickie (Clan Logan #48430548)

W.S. Mullaly was William S. Mullaly and he was a well known musician/orchestra leader. Looks like he was born in Manchester in the 1840s. He went insane in 1892. He died in Worcester MA 4 Aug 1905. His brother, John, was also a prominent musician.
Robert Britton was a performer who went by "Bob Britton."
Also I found a reference in that Lydia Thompson book that her real first name was Rachel. But I can find nothing else to back that up.
According to "Lydia Thompson: Queen of Burlesque," and a couple of other books searchable on Google Books, Weber was married to a W.S. Mullaly, divorced him in 1875, married a Robert Britton and died at age 45. I found her in their database under Liza Weber Britton! Section: 39 Lot: 399-418 Lot: S. G. (single grave)
Her burial permit gives her age as 38, place of birth England. There's already an entry for Liza Britton, although I think they have the wrong lot #. I submitted a correction for that.
