Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired with a passion for genealogy and family histories. The major family names I am researching are Mortensen; Wolfe; Mooney and Briggeman. These families cover a span from Denmark and Ireland to Illinois, Montana and Idaho.

I am also researching my husband's families: McClary, Harter, Tasker, Donaldson and Feys.

You can find all of my family trees, research and thousands of obituaries posted at I am dedicated to the sharing of genealogy history!

My current (additional) project is photographing the graves in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Seattle, WA. I have access to the Seattle Times on-line and attempt to add obituaries with complete death dates, etc. If I have posted a member of your family and you would like a transfer or updates and links to a memorial, please use the "Edit" button on the memorial.

Two things stand in stone.
Kindness in another's trouble,
Courage in your own.

RE: Maria Freestone
Thank you for trying. That is interesting as I moved a bunch yesterday as I like the tombstone first and then the photo. I just did some others to try it again. Works fine for me. Anyway, as long as the tombstone is on the main page, that is what counts. At least the death cert. is gone. They are not suppose to be on a as photo anyway, but just an icon to connect to the recorded record. Thanks for all your great work on findagrave.

On Angels Wings
On Angels Wings has just removed Dessie's death certificate from her mother's memorial. That has moved Maria's tombstone photo to the main memorial. All is well now. It is great that we can all work together. Thanks again.

RE: Maria Freestone
Thank you for your quick reply. I should have told you the tombstone photo was already attached. Sorry. Could you just change the order of photos and move it to the top of the memorial. I will contact the person that entered the death certificate and have her remove it. I have contacted her before for other things. I didn't notice it was her daughter. Thank you again.

Thank you so much! I've updated the memorial. How fascinating to have this new info involving your jockey. I will contact my Page first cousins to let them know (descendants of Oliver) and the descendant of May who shared her photos. Best regards! Margie

Are you interested in Edith? If you create a memorial page for her and request a photo I will know the page is ready for a picture, which I have.

Thanks Ann.

I am a descendant of Soren Kelson's second wife and her first husband. Do you happen to have any photos of Soren?

I am interested in the photo you have uploaded to this memorial:

I was wondering if you would also add it to Soren's memorial? #32543788

Are you a relative of this couple? (just wondering)

Burk Cemetery
Ann, I noticed you created all of the memorials within Burk Cemetery, Russell County, Virginia. I have just found a listing for that cemetery created by Ed Burke in 1977. It lists several other people for this cemetery. While I am more than happy to create memorials for these individuals, I wanted to check with you regarding the validity of the list. Do you have easy access to this cemetery to know for certain there are more graves there than the four you have listed? Thanks! Roxie (

Isaac Newton & Bethany Moffitt
Ann: You're very welcome. Actually my direct ancestor is A.D. [Alfred D.] Moffitt and his wife Rebeca [Caveness] Moffitt, the parents of Isaac Newton. When my husband and I were at Lebanon Church of Christ cemetery back in April of this year, we did notice the rows of stones are confusing and I think we might have missed a few so we will be going back there in the fall to 'double check' our list of photos. We want to make sure we got every single one.
Thanks, Shirley :)
