I am retired with a passion for genealogy and family histories. The major family names I am researching are Mortensen; Wolfe; Mooney and Briggeman. These families cover a span from Denmark and Ireland to Illinois, Montana and Idaho.
I am also researching my husband's families: McClary, Harter, Tasker, Donaldson and Feys.
You can find all of my family trees, research and thousands of obituaries posted at rootsweb.com. I am dedicated to the sharing of genealogy history!
My current (additional) project is photographing the graves in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Seattle, WA. I have access to the Seattle Times on-line and attempt to add obituaries with complete death dates, etc. If I have posted a member of your family and you would like a transfer or updates and links to a memorial, please use the "Edit" button on the memorial.
Favorite quotation: Life is mostly froth and bubble, Two things stand in stone. Kindness in another's trouble, Courage in your own.

 | RE: Marion Smyth, Cameron Callin Yes, Ann, I would appreciate it. Uncle Cam was the favorite uncle of my brothers and I. We would drive from SoCal to Seattle on our family vacations and go camping and fishing with him. Roger, while not my genetic grandfather was always Grampa to us, as our real G/F was killed in a railroad accident when my dad was 2 years old. Thanks Again, John Callin | | | Jean Foster
 | RE: Dora Lewis Sawyer Thanks for letting me know about the link I appreciate that. If you see anything else with my memorials let me know. Have a great day. | | | Jean Foster
 | Dora Lewis Sawyer I have linked her parents and also added a photo of the headstone. It came out a little dark so will try and replace it as soon as possible. Clark and Dora Mable Sawyer were my Aunt's in-laws. If this is your family I will be glad to transfer the memorials. | | | Mark Vernon
 | RE: Forest Lawn Cemetery Hi Ann,
Please feel free to work on anything I missed. I used Forest Lawn as one of my early Findagrave ventures. I did a spotty job and missed spots! Don't hesitate to add anything to my findagrave pages. As I fecall some of my photos came out dark. I have an Aunt that was buried at Forest Lawn, that was how I got addicted to this website!

 | RE: Charles U. Ellis I am not sure. He had a first wife, Ellen Hall, that died young in Nebraska. His son stayed in Nebraska. All the family obituaries of his parents and siblings, I have, list Charles as living in Oregon and then Washington. All I have is his Birth year of 1858 off a census. So give or take a year. | | | Jerry Engelhart
 | Owen Soverign Ann, Thank you for the recent transfer of the Owen Sovereign memorial. Do you have a copy or access to the original obit? In the memorial it reads that "he and his wife celebrated their '6th' wedding anniversary in February" I am thinking it may be either a typo or an error somewhere along the line. I have a 1920 census record with he and his wife and two children, with the oldest 19, so it may be '60th' but hoped you could confirm it.
Again thank you so much.
